Those are some beautiful engines there Keith. I'm not sure if you are aware but the Stuart Models Double 10V has 2 nuts missing, one at each end of the base, but knowing you as I do, you probably would be aware of that.

Keith; it looks like the rather brown looking "Non Stuart" engine needs some attention by your very capable hands. Maybe a future project? I just love to see your model engines running with their perfection. ;-)

That engine is surprisingly technically very well made and runs well, despite it's appearance. It is an old and tarnished Gunmetal engine built from Reeves castings.
