Waaaay back at the beginning of the month we went up to Burnett, WI, to an event Keith, Lydia, and Wilson have attended several times but Mom had not. She finally made it there!

So many things. Are these things all brought in for the event or do they have some permanently there? I could identify some of the unusual equipment, but there were so many things I wondered about. Looked like a nice day and you had so many things to look at. I wanted to thank you for the music reference. I knew I had heard the "Danse Macabre" before but didn't know the title. I used to listen to classical music when my record player was available. I've missed it and now thanks to your reminder, I have found several on YT to listen to. Thank you.

I think a little of both. I'm guessing the displays of things in the buildings are pretty permanent. These types of shows are usually held on the properties of the local antique power or thresher "clubs" so to speak. Perhaps the members acquire new pieces to display or swap out things from time to time? The "Danse Macabre" was chosen by our eldest son Hank when he was in charge of the videos. I enjoy still using it :) Wouldn't seem like the farm channel to completely change the ending song!

u guys ever hear of a Alberta Clipper, on mega big one is forming and due to start moving south east on wednesday with snow on the plains of amounts of 20-30cms huge risk of loud weather once it hits the Minnesota/Wisconsin regions , hope u guys got your gardens cleaned out or Alaska will freeze it for u in August. Enjoy

Awesome! send it along. We could use a bit of relief from the heat. The powers that be issued for us an EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING!!! for yesterday and today. It is quite oppressive. Not so much for me as I can get out of it into the A/C if need be, but the poor animals are not happy. The heat is not the worst but it's the stagnant humidity.
