Keith has the patience of Job. This reminds me of how I would "help" my husband with repairs, only I was the one with the patience. I remember many a time picking up tools and parts that were thrown down in a fit of temper when things didn't go right. Despite that we usually got the job done. Thanks again for sharing.

35 years ago I had a similar damaged key way problem on the end of a crankshaft on a 4 bolt Chevy 350 engine where the harmonic balancer goes. It was a '77 GMC 3 ton truck. All the mechanics called me a fool for not pulling the engine and replacing the crankshaft. I was too poor and too lazy for that. Instead I just clamped the key in place and brazed it in place, leaning over the radiator with the hood open. I ground on the welded spot to make it smooth enough to fit the harmonic balancer tight on the shaft and bolted it back on. Never had a problem with it again right up to the day I sold it after working the truck hard for 3 years. Sometimes ___rigging works just fine.😊

If anyone can fix anything on the farm Mr. Fink sure can. He's a genius , most farmer's are, they have to be. The kid's loved the pizza's. I did it in memory of my family they loved our fair. God bless our farmer's

Glad it was fixable. That weld to build up the shaft looked really good. You two together are so fun, love the conversations. I always enjoy watching machine repairs and have watched many of Pete's tractor tear downs. Thanks.

As good as new. Sure wouldn't think that would wear out as little as it moves. I guess nothing lasts forever

The 3rd hole on the taper lock collar is made to screw a set screw into to separate them. so to take it apart is usually just as easy as putting them in. thanks for the video. Glad you were able to repair the wrapper!
