Keithley DMM7510 Stuck Button Repair

I scored a decent "ebay discount" on a DMM7510 with unreliable buttons. Just one problem: the DMM7510 does not use standard blister pad construction!

Holy batmans that's a lot of componentry and processing power for the front panel. Probably whole Keithley 2001 BOM costed less than front panel alone here :-)

How did you actually fix the buttons? just cleaning the PCB and the buttons?

Yep! It seemed to work at the time, but it is now 2 years later and starting to show the same problem again. If I could do it again (and I might), I would see if I couldn't replace the little conductive pads outright.
