Thank you, glad you're enjoying the uploads. Maybe I'll invest more time in the channel sometime this year but for now my ability to play is very limited. Stephen is incredible, definitely among my favorite guitarists at the moment.

This is talent! Probably100 different licks. Consistent flawless and not improvised half assed. 1 or 2 maybe, I didn’t see any. Musically talented people like this don’t stay stuck in intermediate level very long. I’m sure he practices guitar everyday, but it doesn’t take him 6 months trying to learn the same lick over and over. His attack the way holds pick. It doesn’t feel awkward to him.

I appreciate that, Danny. These are mostly spontaneous ideas and I do most of my practice right before diving into takes. Once upon a time I played every day but lately It's been about 1-2 hours a week. You're right as far as the grip goes, it's always felt natural to me.

I am still using an old Pod XT and a practice Peavey amp. My gear is actually laughable but I make it work.
