I had the most traditional dad ever and he taught his daughters to be able to take care of themselves. He said get your education have your own money dont take no mess from any man and dont give the time of day to anyone who is less than you. He also taught me how to change a tire and took me the shooting range lol. So that strong independent thing is cultivated by good dads and i think a lot of the men who look at this with disdain dont recognize that because they didnt have a dad.

This was 100% my father, Kevin! My parents had 8 daughters, no sons and raised us the same way. Although my parents had a traditional marriage my siblings and I were raised to just as you’ve stated! We know how to change tires and car oil. We exercise our 2nd amendment. We are all married with our own kids and great careers. However, I’m working on trusting my husband to “lead” as this was not taught to us growing up. Stay blessed 💗

It works for some, but I think a shy guy who doesn’t crave the spotlight and doesn’t need to be in charge by being alpha, but knows how to be a team player and knows when to take the lead and when to allow her to lead would be great for her. That’s just my opinion.
