Unfortunately establishing yourself at this age in the music industry gets you pigeon-holed into the less successful "old soul" audience. To be booming, you have to appeal to younger audiences who are more likely to listen to popular radio stations and have the greatest buying power. If you have followed KeKe then you will know that this song is a good reflection of her personality. I think it was smooth and effortless and I personally enjoyed it. It's clever because she is a fantastic ebb artist from back in my day but this song is t too modern she still uses strong vocals and chords and a mixture of harmonies from the old school rnb to flavour quite a current sound. So I connected with it. The brilliance of using Jodeci is even a reminder to us that these artists still lead in the rnb genre whether they are experimenting with new sounds or not. Cleverly done.
