Everyone's talking about how tragic Maggie story is, which is true, but Daryl's is every bit as tragic. He's lost his two brothers, his lover, all of his friends, every place he's lived in before Alexandria. It's tragic because he's never had a real family, yet everyone he forms a bond with dies. He literally only has Carol now.
