Those Sub 2K's are really hit or miss. Mine was a miss. haha. I took it to the range 6 times and had to send it back to Kel Tec 3 times. Never had an enjoyable day with it. Lucky for you to get a good one! I wanted one so bad even after the 6th crappy range trip my brother finally had to tell me, "dude, that gun sucks, and nobody enjoys shooting it. Sell the freaking thing." haha. So I did.

@@theARMORYchannel Yea. I unfortunately just got a lemon. I've seen videos of people who've had them for years and never had a problem. I had every problem. haha. And it was the coolest color blue. It legit looked like Cobra Commander's gun! It was AWESOME! Until I got it to the range. haha. Beyond all the mechanical / parts issues, it was uncomfortable as F to shoot. I don't have a beard, but my friend and brother do and they eventually stopped shooting it. So I got all the aftermarket items to make it more comfortable to shoot but nobody ever really "enjoyed" shooting it. And none of the kids or ladies even wanted to finish a mag the recoil was so jarring when you mash your face into the "buffer tube" with that heavy bolt sliding back and forth. I don't know why I still want one. haha. Good luck with yours!

The sig msr takes aimpoint t1 t2 style mounts. They have any mount you can think of

A red dot with a QD-mount is much better than these bulky overpriced side folding contraptions, when the rifle is folded just keep the red dot mounted on the bottom rail

I got a MidWest Ind mount for my Sub2k not knowing the optic has to have an Aimpoint T2 footprint. None of my cheap red dots have that footprint. If anyone can point me to a inexpensive optic I would be grateful. RockOn.StayFree.

You might could use a Magpul cantilever mount in the most forward mlok slot or pic rail, and it will push your light forward . Amazon usually has 'em.
