So the controversial joke was from dawood,yamraj and aurat. The joke actually was meant to be played around the song "ek do teen" but was misinterpreted coz he used ram ji and sita ji's name but he never made fun of them, if you'll see the complete joke you'll understand the context that he called madhuri dixit a bitch. Even though he got cleared by the supreme court he had still stayed in jail for 37 days. A person from the right wing party was the one who ACCUSED him for making fun of hindu god (which he never did) since he was from RW and didn't have anything to attack munawar on political grounds because of freedom of speech and right to criticize government he used this trick to get back at munawar for doing political satire.
