Whoa! First I though she was serious and sitting straight so was she 4? But ever since Carol said 1 it was like her true self lit up and popped out from under a false wet blanket sorta frumpiness. And it became so clear she was 1. Amazing! I love how this helps clear up the stigma that 1 needs to be a loud, flashy goofball! And shows how some people don't have their type understood or allowed enough in childhood. These latest Carol videos showing people who've been mistyped are my favorite so far!

just because people didn't tell her to calm down as a kid doesn't mean her energy was successfully oppressed. Maybe she wasn't told to calm down because her energy was being honored? I'm a third generation t3. My mom and her mom raised me to identify with that energy just fine before energy profiling told them how to raise me. Sometimes these negative scripts aren't part of our childhood, not because we were oppressed, but because we were blessed.

I believe she's a 1/4, which explains why she's somewhat subdued and calm, while still being fun-loving and sparkly 😊 It also explains that while her style is lighter and brighter, she still keeps it very simple, from the button down shirt to the minimal accessories. It's type 1 style done in a type 4 way. The 4 in me loves it. 😄
@stariadreamtea2 жыл бұрын
Aha! Yes. 😃 A very good observation! I think I've always lived as a type 2, and even was a goth for many years. I'm a bit melancholy, deep. If you see any of my videos I generally talk slowly and madden people with that or relax them. I'm attracted to alternative, dreamy, bohemian things. I like to read and enjoy nature. I started toy collecting so I "forced" a lot of the type 1 "kawaii" style on myself trying to try out the clothes and style that is associated with the creative playfulness I enjoy. I found that even though I do have a jester in me, and I do love type 1 people - *it took away my gravity.* I miss my blacks and having a bit more "power" to my style. I felt type 1 puts me too much into people pleaser/goofy mode and I don't like it for me. I think I wanted to be type 1 because they appeal to me. I find their fast movements a bit annoying at times, but overall like a lot of their brightness. Maybe I am type 1 just expressed incorrectly for me. I'm not sure. All I know is that ever since leaving the Goth scene I felt lost. I tried many other creative/alternative styles - they didn't really suit me. I don't identify with Gothic styles anymore however - so I can't turn back. Dressing "normally" looks frumpy on me and I really feel a lot like this woman about being type 2. My oldest friend of over a decade thinks I'm type 2-4. He sees a lot of leadership qualities that have been ridiculed away. I thought I was type 2, 1 and maybe 4. All I managed to clarify is that I'm not type 3 😥 I think it's because who I am is changing. I used to be so clear on my style, so sure of myself. Often in leadership positions. For some years I am just confused. Was it easy for you to clearly see your type?
@MoonlitShoreWalk2 жыл бұрын
@@stariadreamtea at first I was torn between being a 2 and a 4, so I sat down and made a list (dead give away? 😂) and answered each of the quiz questions carefully (analytically) and realized I am a 4! At first I thought, "No way! I can't be a 4! I'm extremely ADD and scatterbrained, for one thing!" Lol. But the more I thought about it the more it made sense. As a child I was much more random, spontaneous, hyperactive, and social, but the 4 energy was always there. When I wasn't around friends, I was contemplative, observant, a deep thinker, imaginative, moved very slowly because I was always lost in deep thought (my parents would say my pace was glacial 😂), I loved reading which also gave me a much larger vocabulary, I love expressing myself more through writing than speaking (especially on the phone, which I hate lol), etc. So I am most definitely a type 4, secondary 1, which makes perfect sense now. When I'm with people I'm comfortable with, the 1 in me definitely comes out, but I don't enjoy crowds (trees need their space to live and breathe) and I'm often exhausted after social gatherings and need time to unwind. Looking at a couple of your videos, I'd say your primary type is a 4! You have the very evenly spaced features, high cheekbones, smooth rectangular forehead; eyes, eyebrows, mouth, all set on a parallel, etc. You're also well spoken. However, your voice is a bit softer, and your features are all softened and meld together in a way that's lovely, so secondary 2? Maybe 2 and 1 tied for second, because you do have sparkly eyes? What do you think? If you think I might be correct, then you may have been drawn to black through your fashion 6th sense! I've also always been drawn to black, and I also went through a vampy phase in college, hehe. I don't think of black as depressing, but beautiful, like a night sky, or a jewelry store, where black velvet is used to make all the jewels sparkle and shine even brighter. 😄🖤💍🕶💎 I wear a lot of black trousers and simple, button downs tops in jewel toned colors, dark jeans with black and white polka dotted tops (as a 4/1, I do love polka dots, they're both classic and fun 😁), and black and white patterned dresses. Very classic Audrey Hepburn. I LOVE it. You, as a 4/2-1, might enjoy a comfy, flowy black skirt or dress, accessorized with lots of sparkly jewelry, bright bold scarves, etc, or just use a jewel tone as your base and add a bit of glossy shine with bold, bright silver accessories. 4 doesn't = black, it's just a common neutral color, so you can still go wild with color and have fun with it 😄 What do you think?

This was so very enlightening to me! I saw myself so much in this. I had originally thought I was a Type 2 person, I am very sensitive, was very shy as a child in larger groups but not with close friends, I like things to be calm (but now I’m thinking I might be trying to calm my own buoyant energy?). I’ve always felt an opposing force though like I should be graceful (I’m not) and calm and orderly but I like to have fun, have been told I look way younger than my 52 years. I like how you said that there are ranges of type one. I think I dismissed myself as this type because I’m not super bubbly. The other thing I heard in a video was having a song playing in my head-I was like-I do that! Also, what confirmed it for me last night as I was closing the curtains I saw a fire fly on the window and I was absolutely captivated by it lighting up and called my husband in (he I believe is a type 4) and he was like-I’m not sitting here waiting for a fire fly to light up. I could have sat there for a long time watching that bug lol! Is that type 1? I am always seeing the wonder in nature. Love exploring your videos and can’t wait to read the book to check out more info.
