This is the main reason why I wanted Sirianni fired. I wanted the head coach to be an offensive play caller so that way the quarterback and head coach can grow and learn together. That type of stability is unprecedented. We saw what it was like last year when we lost our coordinators. Jalen's going to have to learn another system. This is going to happen every f****** year.

That's why you gotta let Nick go plus we seen his true coaching last yr.. Nick only good when he's got good coordinators there's really nothing he brings to the team. Back in 2022 it was Shane and Gannon that got us to the SB and last yr Nick had average coordinators and it was the biggest collapse in NFL history and now Nick has two good coordinators and now they're winning again.. The proof is this season for me though bc Nick and Moore were actually taking turns calling the place Nick was the first and third and more was the second and fourth and that's why the team stunk in the first and third and were the lowest scoring team in the NFL in them two quarters and second and fourth is when they ran teams over .. Now last 4 games moore been calling all the plays bc Howie probably had a talk with Nick and now the eagles are rolling every quarter and even scoring in first quarter .. Nick brings nothing to the team and I can't wait for him to go get another coaching job so all Nick fans can see how bad of a coach he really is when he don't have a roster like the eagles do

I still think Gannon lost us that Super Bowl because his head wasn't in the game. The Eagles were stomping the Chiefs in the first half. When Andy made offensive adjustments at halftime, Gannon had no answer for it. The NFL needs to enforce the rule -- nobody talks to anybody on a team that's still playing. Once a team is eliminated, their personnel are free to talk to anybody. That used to be a given, but lately teams are getting away with openly poaching coaches who are still competing in the playoffs. It has to stop.

@aqn197616 күн бұрын
First of all, I absolutely hate the fact that coaches are allowed to be poached aka interviewed while they still have games to coach... So either the rule is after the Superbowl or after your team has been eliminated before you can interview because the team works so hard to get to the playoffs and all of a sudden one of your main guys (i.e. OC/DC) get distracted with their future employment!!! Don't care what you say, with the amount of money involved and family relocation, it's a DISTRACTION! That's totally unfair to the team! Second, some OC/DC are too shortsighted & overly eager to becoming HC, when in the long term they are better off being successful for a few years at coordinator rather than just one or two seasons... And usually they will be headed to a deadbeat franchise with deadbeat owners and end up looking for a job again in 2 years... Kellen is still a young man and he can pretty much pencil in a HC of his choosing if he shows loyalty and consecutive years of success which most likely will be available in Philly! If it's a question of money, I am sure Howie can nearly match any HC salary he will be offered and Kellen will be better for in the long run.

Just curious if anyone noticed how quickly Tanner Mckee processed the field and released the ball. (With back up line and wrs). Why is hurts holding the ball so f#%^* long??? Its concerning

Cuz McKee is 6ft6 - and the line averages 6ft6 lol. He can see - hurts is 6ft1 , and even the center is 6ft3-4 . Mailata 6ft8 , Becton 6ft8 , Dickerson and Johnson 6ft6-6ft7 . He’s a shorter qb , it’s always gonna be a problem . On designed roll outs he hits the open man every damn time and does it with great timing !

Mike. The run designes have changed since last year, and are better, but still not to maximum capacity. They still could be even greater. Lastly. How many yards does saquon go for all together including the super bowl. 700? Go to the game bro. Enjoy it I hope they wear all black again too and your son gets to see saquon in all black, and aj and smitty in their batman suits. 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥

But wait, there’s more! It’s been reported that Assistant GM Alec Halaby will be interviewing for the vacant GM position with the Jets. The previous GM? Joe Douglas, another former Eagles Assistant GM. Once again, we’re under ‘ attack ‘.

Great teams have to deal with this unfortunately. The way I see it, I hope he sees a Superbowl win as a way to boost his value before accepting a head coaching job. If he’s gonna leave, I say at least LEAVE WITH A RING! 💍

That would make me feel better but still want him to stay a little more

Put McKee in there and let him call his own audibles just like Foles did.

The NFL or the Eagles organization needs to set some gd rules about this... let the damn season finish. Last time we got screwed because of this because our season was still going while our DC stopped caring and was worried about his HC interview.

Can't Lurie just start paying OC/DC like HC to keep them around? I know many will want the opportunity to be "the guy in charge" but if you don't have to uproot your family, have a shot at multiple SBs and get paid like the boss...it might help keep them put longer. Not my money, but I'd back the Brinks truck up to keep these guy in town longer than "A year good enough to get a HC job". Slap an assistant HC title too if that helps.

100% hire Ben Johnson as head coach. Either get rid of Sirianni or give him another title.
