There is no acoustic electric 6 string. When old man Kelly was there it was better.

Sounds fine to me. They fill the musical space very well. If you check out videos of Redd Volkaert's trio at the Floyd Country Store, he leaves a massive mount of musical space empty, but the overall effect is superb. A wall of sound is not always required.

​@@lyellbanmanthat's not an acoustic electric, it's a Thinline Telecaster, Luke McQueary signature model. It's a badass guitar, built to Luke's specifications. Even if it WAS an electric acoustic, those were played on many thousands of country records. You ever hear of Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Leon Rhodes, Hank Garland, Billy Byrd, Grady Martin, just to name a few? Just a simple yes or no will do.

I never said that it was an acoustic electric. I literally stated that in this particular video there is no acoustic electric guitar. Don Kelley always used to have a Takamine and that was additional to the lead electric Porter was playing or Luke today. @@rockinredneck57
