Exactly. Besides the Givens of her looking/sound like 1 trillion dollars, she knows PRECISELY what she is singing about. The 1st 90 seconds, sung as a ballad, with unused trunk lyrics not on the album, are EXQUISITE...And then the number keeps modulating/changing key + the Montage of all past Dollys, far and away THE best number in that entire memorial service. Stunning.

What a wonderful performance by a good singer. And btw sports fans..Barbra Streisand did not originate the part. She sang her own version in the movie, because she does what she wants to.Wonderful voice BUT if you want AUTHENTIC...please listen to Carol Channing who was the original Dolly Levi and performed it the wayJerry Herman meant it to be performed.

@@Caio0_057 What a stupid remark and assumption. The tempo is not the issue. And there are few people on the planet who are as big a Jerry Herman fan as I am. The best way to pay tribute to him is to sing the song as he intended and sadly this blessing has been bestowed on too many performers who cannot do this great song justice.
