I am collecting all your art work so I can do it when I get home after work. You are the best teacher I know with Zen art lessons!

That’s so sweet! I was a kindergarten teacher for 20 years, so I like to make tricky things as simple as I can!

I really enjoy these bite-sized lessons! They are just right for beginners like myself who can become overwhelmed with all the details of projects using multiple tangles. It makes it harder to remember how to make each element that creates the whole. In my home, I have a five-year-old grandson that we are raising because his mom died last year. Things are often chaotic as we tend to his physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. So, sitting for an hour-long tutorial means I’ll be interrupted numerous times by this little guy who needs attention. When I wait until he’s asleep for the night, I’m so tired that I can’t concentrate on a large Zentangle. But I am building a library of these Bijou tiles which I can refer to over and over again. On my own tiles, I am color-coding each new element so that I can remember how it all comes together. I haven’t yet mastered deconstructing a completed tile to recreate it. You have such a soothing voice and are a joy to learn from!

Fabulous. I was wondering, how do you store your little Zentangle drawings? Or do you display them somewhere?
@KelliBlouin9 ай бұрын
I mostly keep them in little boxes and containers! 😆 I have a video on my KZbin page from a year or two ago, with ways to display and enjoy them!

Hi Kelli , thanks so much for such wonderful instruction . At the end of your videos you mention to search ? Mayou ? Can you please clarify . Thanks ❤
@KelliBlouin Жыл бұрын
I probably said "Nayu" ...that is the name of the tangle. If you search for it you can see different variations!
