I watched her win idol and she was my first favorite musician and I have sang all her songs my whole life and her voice is out of this world! But Ariana is pretty damn talented too. @@dari1741 Just because something isn't the original doesn't mean it was live. I used to do that all the time when I was performing. I would use one recording for whatever was being published and then another recording to present as "live" if I couldn't hit my notes for whatever reason. The "live" recording wasn't perfect and it was different enough to not sound like the original. Iirc Ariana was caught doing this before for segments with high runs, but I'm not 100% confident in that assertion. I guess the whole thing comes down to what is defined as "live". For me live is unedited, but by the phrase's definition singing live can have autotune, and so I would concede that this could well be live because of how advanced live audio production is. It wasn't unedited live though.
