So..how do they handle the Kellyoke segment with the in-studio audience? I thought she was always doing those in real-time with the audience there? So they are pre-taped? That kind of sucks, I remember when she used to do them live in her first season and go throughout the audience, etc. Do they just show a tape of the performance to the in-studio audience? Don't get me wrong, still love Kelly and her show, but wish she'd do the Kellyoke segment live again. I realize the show itself isn't live, by "live", I mean in real-time with her studio audience and not pre-taped separately.

Sounds like she tapes extra Kellyokes to use if she's sick the day of the show taping. There's been a few times during past seasons where she's said she wasn't feeling up to singing and then introduces one of the extra Kellyokes. I've been to some tapings and Kelly definitely sings a new song for each one.

0:36 That last picture is Conan's short-lived Tonight Show set, which was shot on Universal Studios' Stage 1 in Hollywood, California-a 10,635 sq ft studio. There's no way that set would fit in Kelly's 3,504 sq ft Studio 6A at NBC's 30 Rock in New York City. Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder....

Kelly. She said her family is on the East coast and having to spend so much time away from them was really weighing on her. Not to mention, going through a painful last few years in her personal life there really contributed to wanting to move.

As much as I love the idea of Kelly being in New York, I much prefer her LA set. It was so bright and cheerful and very "Kelly." This NY set looks very dark and moody. Don't care for it as much. I wish they'd lighten it up a bit.

But as a big Letterman and Conan fan, I'm really happy to see the iconic Studio 6A lives on...with a new talk show....and isn't just be used for news segments or production.
