As a singer of Foreigner tunes, you simply must be highly skilled to do any justice to these songs. They are some of the most challenging vocals to perform well live. He seems like a nice person. Yes, gigs/ opportunities have declined.

I've seen Kelly several times. Other than the great voice,etc. I am impressed how he "entertains" the crowd and seems concerned about putting on a great show. He knows just what to say to the crowd and by the end of the night, he's completely won the crowd over. What a " truly great entertainer"

Lou couldn’t do it anymore. Kelly kept this band alive. Lou was great but Kelly is great. They are still awesome live. I’ve seen them with Lou over 10 times and Kelly over 10 times. All fun. If you love the music you will be happy. Don’t dog Kelly just to be a dick.

@@Reba24u You forgot about Johnny Edwards . Lous first replacement. I like him better. He was chosen over Hansen and Mark Free (King Kobra) to replace Lou in 1990. UNUSUAL HEAT (1991) was the result. As far as infighting ? That's not why Lou left in 2003. It was because of Mick Jones alcoholism. Micks having health issues now and does not appear on stage with current lineup. His health issues aren't happening for nothing. Lou gave up drugs and alcohol years before the brain tumor and Mick never stopped. Lou came out of retirement in 2021 and Mick because of his health is now forced into retirement. He should've treated Lou better and should still give Lou his due for the royalty ratio on "I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS " Lou did much more than just arrange and sing that vocal take with the engineer on that song 🎵 . Just saying since you mentioned infighting. Lou is still unhappy Jones screwed him over that.

He returned only because his replacement was awful and he didn't want to see foreigner lose reputation. But Lou said himself that he remained bitter (and rightfully so) about Mick ripping him off. Lou lost his voice a long time ago due to health or age. Most dynamic rock singers burn out early. Ask Robert Plant to sing Zep the way he did in his prime. He cant do it.
