Hey Craig, Jim Wolfe here. Nice to hear this song again after so long. I think I recorded a version of this at the Music Source at some point--maybe before this Kaye Smith version. Anyway, it's always been a New Years Eve song that I remembered and I'm happy you posted it. All the best to you. I'm still cranking out tunes and having fun with music...plus I got marred a bit ago and have a one year old son....you're never too old to be a great dad! Jim! How lovely, and amazing, to hear from you. I knew you had moved to the Islands, but congrats on your marriage and son, and for embracing that adventurous journey at this stage. Good for you. We never cut this at the Music Source, but we did record an earlier version at Kaye-Smith in 1976 that was co-produced and arranged with Bunz, which you must have heard. It had a full band track and string arrangement; we were going for a more intimate singer/songwriter vibe this time around in 1978, with a more impassioned vocal. Thanks for the kind words and for remembering it at all. Onward...

Thanks, Judy. My story is typical of so many: a diehard folkie until the Beatles changed everything, and then playing, singing & writing in bands all through junior and senior high, and then college. I had the good fortune to land a publishing deal and experience some minor success as a writer. You?
