As huge a star as Beyoncé is and that cannot be denied, I actually prefer Kelly. Her voice, her charisma, her genuity that shows through. She carries (to my ears) tone and strength way better than Beyoncé. Beyoncé is just LOUD, while Kelly is STRONG and melodic.
