Even tho the three of us are dealing with pretty severe emotional and psychological issues becuz of it...I know we are blessed beyond words to be free of his wrath. I instantly cry seeing people moved by the stories of others to the point that they are compelled to act. This is humanity at its most glorious. Sorry for the run on sentences....I'm bawling. lol.

What an absolutely perfect example of how ANYONE can make a difference, if they take the time to care. Can you imagine community members hiking rent prices at the expense of fire victims, who are their neighbors and in need? Wow. It is so worthwhile to showcase that good citizens exist. Good does triumph. God bless those still struggling to regain their stability. Help each other, please. This applies to anywhere affected by natural disaster and more.

His daughter said it all, its how we should all live our lives. We grow up (depending on the household) being taught that Santa only comes for good kids, and that "God" is a truly loving spirit that wants you to help those in need (these where lessons taught to me from my parents and grandparents, more open minded one could call them). To live your life how that little girl put it "We would make Santa and God proud" like this is what we wanted. This is (i hope) what previous generations where aiming for. Kind, caring, loving, and accepting people, this is at least the aim in my family.
