*Kia ora (hello) to anyone wanting info. Sam (Nigel) Neill is a Kiwi (New Zealander). There is a saying in NZ that is widely used lol and it is "Nigel no mates'. But Sam who is an awesome actor, also has lots of mates/friends plus he is a down to earth dude. 🙂 Sam also owns a vineyard in the South Island of New Zealand and sells his wine 'Two Paddocks'. 🙂NZ*

In Australia it's Nigel no friends. People would get called a Nigel if they were alone. I haven't heard it used that way since the early 90's. Though I'm sure Nigel's still get called A Nigel 😂
