Hi Kelly, I started mixing my serums and moisturizers with sweet almond oil (cold pressed, because it is very important that it is cold pressed and not refined) and my skin feels calmer, much more comfortable. And I couldn't agree with you more that the Haru Haru Wonder essence is wonderful, it became a staple in my routine, it is delicious and has several oils that my skin needs, I am truly in love with that essence, I recommend it to everyone. Hi Kelly I was unwell in December with a chest infection and my skin really suffered 😢. I looked like I had aged s decade and was so dry/dehydrated. I have extremely dry rosacea and eczema prone skin anyway, so it was DRY DRY DRY. I focused on super hydrating and nourishing products with no real actives and used slugging as a treatment for several days (cereve healing ointment). My skin is soft and comfortable again whilst looking so much better. I do normally use sleeping masks on top of my moisturiser at night, but switching them out for the ointment really made a difference to my skin. I am extremely dry however so it's not going to suit those who have their own oil as well as me. I don't mind the grease at night😂, but I do apply a couple of hours before bed to allow it to sink in partially at least and not get all over my silk pillowcase 😂. Best wishes x

I dislike oils of all kinds be it for my skin, hair or body as I hate anything greasy or slippery but love sleeping masks as an alternative. I loved that iUnik one, other faves were the Purito Dermide sleeping mask, the Round Lab dokodo sleeping mask, Abib rice mask and the Cosrx propolis one. Am always after trying new sleeping masks and I can see some western brands like even ELF have released them too

I’m intrigued by the propolis mask! After watching this, I think I need a couple more days of using my exfoliating toner. I’ve been loving the Prequel Ointment for slugging, Aquaphor and Cicaplast seem to cause breakouts for me.

I get very dehydrated and dry in the winter. I was nervous to overdo it with AHAs so I went to once a week. That was a mistake. It became dull, flaky and just a mess. Dr. Idriss had mentioned how hydrating GA is, so I bumped up the number of nights I used it. I exfoliate every other night and a little over 2 weeks ago decided to try the Ordinary peel. I was always too nervous to try it but my skin loves glycolic acid I guess. I've been doing that once a week and my skin is looking great, without any flaking or dryness!

Hi, Kelly, I have a question, if a hydrating/moisturising toner has gluconolactone in it, but not at the top of the ingredient list, do you think the toner can be used everyday? I watched an old video of yours about gentle exfoliating toners & I wonder if those toners can be used everyday? My skin is quite sensitive lately & I can't really use my usual 2% BHA toner.

Don't expose your retinal products to extreme temperatures (cold or hot). A steady room temperature place is fine.

Yes but I'd suggest using a separate moisturizer for dry skin prior to Cicaplast.

Darn I bough the Idris in Sephora 20% off and returned it…i was chicken w my sensitive skin. Glycolic acid and I have a dysfunctional relationship. He messes with my skin barrier and I always take them back.
