Just to let you know the box from the first release is the same as the one from the right, no esrb rating and the nintendo seal of quality was there on that release back on 2016

If I'm correct; I believe the sticker barcode S/N CU202496144 on the clone version reads the same on every box.

One giveaway you never mentioned is that the screws on the plug of the controller is "silver" on the knockoff and black on the legit (atleast that's what it looks like in the video).

i think what is going on is: the same manufacturing company that Nintendo contracted in china to produce the nes classic mini, decided that because Nintendo decided they only wanted to produce such a hugely limited amount, and because there is such a high demand for these, the manufacturing company decided to make more of them and sell them without the blessing of Nintendo. honestly i could not care less. i will happily buy the knockoff and say #fucknintendo because of the out right venomous middle finger they have been giving to their loyal fan-base for so many years. ever since the wii.
@hanchiman7 жыл бұрын
They been giving the middle finger to their customers since the beginning of N64 to be honest...
@uroborous017 жыл бұрын
Hanferd yer kinda right... They had the option of going optical with the 64. But due to load times they opted for cartridge. Sadly however they ended up eating a big fat one because they didnt considder storage space/ multi disk games/ publishing cost, etc. It cost them final fantasy 7. And that was the beginning death nell for the 64.

Well reason is that they were to "protective" with their fear of being pirated with the CD games like Sony Playstation. Thus their games was expensive but already out dated against Sony. Sony dare to look past the Pirates and instead selling license for 3rd Party software companies where the software company can buy their own CD print instead of relying on a monopoly like Nintendo who force the 3rd party to buy their "chip". Also I remember back during SNES 16 bit days in mid 90's like 1995. A Super Nintendo Game cost almost the same price like a Neo Geo game in the 90's... it seriously cost 70 Euro in that time. 70 Euro for one Super Nintendo game in 1995. Can you believe that? Nintendo rack up the price and made an excuse of "Shortage of Computer Chip" which was total bullshit. I am glad Sony fucking destroyed Nintendo with their CD technology and at least reasonable price games.

I have a friend who know someone who made Ninjabread man. Just say that the game bombed in a way, but what interesting is that he told me how Nintendo still practice their bullshit policy. Nintendo force 3rd Party Software companies to buy their "Disc" made by Nintendo, they buy the certain amount so that they can print the game, meanwhile they also have to pay a percentage and license to Nintendo for each game they sold. Anyways as I said, the game bombed, so Data Design (who made Ninjabread) said that they have shit tons of unsold units and not to mention have to pay the rent for a storage area for storing the games. With other words Nintendo, even if the game sold badly, Nintendo themselves didn't get hurt much from a bad game from a 3rd Party.

Where did you get the chinese knockoff?
@MrLaloman186 жыл бұрын
All Chinese folks do is get their hands on a real legit version and make an exact molded copy! Most are able to obtain legit paperwork and adapters and only copy the main system to save production money. Remember, workers that work at these companies that build the original systems have access to extra, and over production of accessories and parts and have the ability to get those things for cheap or free and sell them to replica makers to resell to fools around the world!
@CoalCracker856 жыл бұрын
What they do is buy empty boxes I sold my empty box when it first came out for $60... yea $60 for an empty box

Another big difference I noticed on the knock off controller was the gray bars right above and below the start and select buttons were not aligned with the edges. The legit controller was aligned perfectly with the left and right edges of those gray bars. Check that out. I wish we would have gotten an actual preview of the knock off and legits systems turned on to compare.🤷🏽♂️ But anyway, good video.👍🏽

Not all boxes of legit consoles have the ESRB rating on the front. The only real way to tell is actually firing the thing up. If the language setting and picture settings don’t work then it’s pretty much a fake.

China has been doing nes/famicom bootleg systems for more than 30 years so they should be good at it. They are both just emulator machines either way.

I'm glad Nintendo started making these again. It's selling out around my area. Well I did wait 8 days to get mines through. I went, and got mines yesterday from my local Walmart after I saw that my local Target had sold out along with many other Target's that's kinda close to me. I checked my local GameStop as well on the 29th of June, and they sold out that same day. I called them multiple times after that to see if they had restocked, and they wouldn't even answer their phone. (That's one of the reasons why I hate GameStop.) I should've went to Walmart in the first place. It's much closer to me than Target. Only a block away from GameStop, (Which I hate Target too) and they had plenty in stock. You can't buy them online at Target, and Walmart (Well not where I live anyway.) Best Buy is too far from me, so that was out also. $59.88 was the price for it at my Walmart. A few cents cheaper. Everyone is hitting up GameStop, Target, and Best Buy. Walmart, and maybe even Kmart should've been a choice also. Kmart is too far from me as well, so I don't know if they still have a ton in stock. My local Walmart does though.

Fake has the Nintendo entertainment system name skewed. Fake has 5 titles per screen. Fake has full screen option. Fake has "please wait" display when loading game. Fake has generic HDMI cable. Real has it's name printed straight. Real has 4 titles per screen. Real has crt filter, 3:1, and pixel perfect as options for screen display. Real has games load up real time. No wait time. Real has Nintendo brand in HDMI cable. And real does not have a messed up display music interface when the music loops.

Malabon Casual Gamer I know someone who ordered some fakes recently and "Nintendo Entertainment System" is printed completely straight. It looks almost 100% legit, but when you play it, you can tell it's fake.

Contrary to what you may think, you are not seeing double! The faker has no ESRB rating on the front. That's why you should add '100% Real McCoy' to your search fields to avoid being tricked! Also, I think you should do a weight test on the console itself.
@BruceRichwineJr7 жыл бұрын
RS 1990 I haven’t seen a single unboxing or actual retail box with the ESRB rating on the front of the US version. Even on Nintendo’s own site it doesn’t have it. The HDMI cable doesn’t have Nintendo written on it either.
@christopherwalkinalloverya58247 жыл бұрын
RS 1990 So many misinformed people (no offense). The legit North American NES Classics were produced with two versions of boxes. The first few months of production used the box without the "E for Everyone" logo on the front, and the final production run does have the "E" logo. I know this for sure because I have a few NES Classics bought directly from Best Buy, and they are for sure legit and there are two box versions. I've play tested them and they're definitely official Nintendo made. I also own a couple of these knockoffs, all of which do NOT have the "E for Everyone" on the front. My point is YOU CAN NOT NECESSARILY TELL IF IT'S A KNOCKOFF BY LOOKING AT THE FRONT OF THE BOX. In fact, of all the knockoffs I've seen I can say pretty confidently that if it DOES have the "E for everyone" on the front, it's probably legit..
