ahmunmun725 I’ve been doing my own makeup for a long time. I’m not a professional but I’m pretty good at it. I do makeup for people in my family a lot. I did my mom’s makeup on my own wedding day lol. Practice is the biggest thing! Find someone who looks like you or has similar features and mimic what they do and just practice a lot. Certain things do show badly on camera so I was sure not to do those things and my pictures came out great :)

I have to comment!! I watched this video a few weeks before I got married. And every day leading up to it. And the morning of as I was getting ready by myself. I just want to say THANK YOU for this tutorial! I'm not a person whose super good at doing make up. But I knew for my wedding that 1. I didn't wanna spend a bunch of money on a make up artist 2. I feared not even liking my make up if someone else did it 3. I was VERY nervous to do my own. But after watching this video so much, I felt so prepared. I already had a ton of make up from sephora and having a boxycharm subscription but I bought a few of the items you recommended as well. This comment is long and may seem silly but you helped me to feel confident enough to do my own make up. You are so detailed in this video. People kept commenting about how amazing my make up looked and they couldn't believe I did it myself. It's definitely a glam look which I've learned is needed when you have wedding photos as it doesn't show up as glam in pictures and I can't even imagine how I would look if I did just my every day make up. 😳. I just want you to know how amazing this tutorial is and how helpful it was! Any future brides who are thinking about doing their own make up.. I would just say to watch this video many times and be prepared with good products. I'd also recommend being alone while doing your main application so you don't have distractions or anyone else's opinions..it's what I did and it made my morning so peaceful and easy. I just got married on January 9,2020 and received my sneak peek pictures and they are just amazing! So happy I watched this video which inspired me to do my own make up 😊❤️

I wish there was this many choices in makeup when I got married in 1977! All I used was Cover Girl liquid foundation, mascara and pink lipstick, but I was only 17, so I looked good.

Hi Kelly..I am 46...and you finally taught me how to do makeup! I never knew the difference between primer highlighter, how to appropriately use concealer. When I apply my makeup, I find myself repeating your phrases.."blendy blend" , "bronzie bronze"..and I like to GLOW!!!!!!! I have similar hair colr and skin tone..so this is a HUGE PLUS!!!!

I love this! I also did my own wedding makeup, and it was the best decision ever. The wedding look you did was the same idea I had. Every makeup artist I had met had wanted to do a lot of black eyeliner and big lashes, with bold lips - and that isn't me so I did it myself. Gorgeous look.

Wash your face twice in a row with a brush , over moisturize, let it set for 20 minutes and blend/work the shit out of your makeup 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I've noticed that for my 60 year old aunt, liquid foundation actually works better OVER a pushed in powder (stippling brush) and gives your skin finish some all over glow and youth. Working a powder into your pores and wrinkles helps to fill them. Just make sure to set foundation with a setting spray BEFORE moving on to something else. Or your liquid foundation may settle into wrinkles. 😉

Such a beautiful and glam look but one small note about the CoverGirl powder. It's a mineral powder so it's more than likely going to cause flashback especially with something that is going to get photographed a lot with flash. Highly recommend coverfx or makeup forever for a non flashback powder.

For some reason I thought you had said in the video where u were pre-planning what makeup u wanted to wear for ur wedding that u had said the best wedding foundations were either Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk or Estee Lauder Double Wear...i hope I'm not mistaken on that cuz I literally went out and got those since I'm getting married soon and wanted to grab special make up for that day...especially since I usually only use BB cream for everyday...anyway hopefully those will work cuz I've tried 3diff shades so far from the Born this way line but the lady at Sephora said they may just not have my perfect shade since she has same skin color as me and she couldn't find a shade that matched her either...

Rebecca Urban of course I’m not Kelly and do not have nearly as good advice as she does! haha! But I know both of those foundations are really, really nice as well and would be great for bridal makeup! I would recommend getting a sample of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and of the Estée Lauder Double Wear and then play around with them to see which you like most to purchase for your special day!

i am a professional makeup artist and i can tell you i have learned so much form youtube you can if you practice a lot do your own makeup its not rocket science there are so many great videos that you can learn from. invest your money in great products. i use anastasia beverly hills palettes i recommend for weddings "soft glam" if it's too expensive get the wet n wild dups thay are amazing. thay have lots of great affordable makeup but if its for a wedding you can buy for like 200$ great products

You came out beautifully. You are naturally but wow the transformation you do with makeup is awesome. I just keep trying and I just can’t seem to get it. My eyes are just a struggle and finding a good concealer. I try different stuff with my boxes. I go to ulta and buy new stuff I just can’t get it right. Different days you do different concealers so I just don’t know which way to go and I wish I could do my eyes like yours. It’s getting frustrating and kind of down when it comes to feeling like I’m failing at it. I do have a decent look come in but not like it should. I have trouble if matching shades. But you have awesome videos love ya. You’re #1in beauty videos if you was on deserted Island and had to pick one of everything what would you pick?

Everything was beautiful, but your eyes were a little too much- too dark of shadow and the fake lashes were a tad heavy. Also, your natural skin looked so pale in comparison with your makeup skin. You almost looked like a different person. Maybe it was the camera, but perhaps try some lighter tones. ???
