Congratulations Kelly & Chris! Sweet Avery is so beautiful and such a joyful addition to your family. I love that you were so real, raw and honest about your entire experience. All the emotions, the physical feelings and changes both during and after birth. Sometimes I feel people hide the realities but not with you. You were honest about being uncomfortable, honest about the contractions while breastfeeding being painful, honest with your emotions being home and overwhelmed, I love your transparency. We need more mamas being honest about how this experience goes because it’s beautiful but it’s also a LOT on your mind and body! I hope your first week home with miss Avery is going well. I so felt all of that!! I had two baby girls 15 and 16 years ago that were 16 months apart. I remember feeling those exact emotions and dreading nighttime!! Enjoy every moment-it goes by in the blink of an eye!!

this made me so emotional.. my last baby (#3) just turned 1 . & this brought back all those emotions of each time i had a baby. ❤so happy for you guys. remember you are all human & it’s a big adjustment for you all. my first adjusted fine with both siblings being born .. but my middle had a hard time with her little brother was born. it just takes time and patience. ❤ enjoy all these moments - but don’t forget to try and take care of yourself. ❤❤❤

A back labour is when the pelvis opens (bones) to allow baby to move down, this is excruciating, very different from frontal labour which is muscular
