@@faithbrewer1703 I was going to say, "Because it's sunny." 🤣 I lived in the south for 10 years. Tanning is just a "side effect," unless you wear sun screen. (Which I highly recommend.) Where I lived, the coldest is got was around 60 degrees, so I definitely spent way more time outside then I do now that I live in a northern state. Kenny is EXTRA tan, but he's spent the pandemic in the Virgin Islands, so what do you expect? LOL

This song bring me back to Cedaredge Colorado, CHS Class of 1981. Nostalgia is a delicate thing. Nostalgia, the ache in one's heart for a place and time that no longer exist. For me, 1982 Delta Colorado. Friday night, off work from Terrell's restaurant. Cruising Main street, house parties later. I was 19, young, free and didn't even know it. Memories from a time long past and forgotten like tears in the rain.

Such a beautiful song. Hearing it makes me tear up and remember all the good times I had in my hometown. A lot of people grow up wanting to “escape” their hometown and then grow older wanting to go back. But being a kid who’s parents moved me away from my home, my friends, and my family over and over, I am growing up wanting so badly to go back home and I will grow older wanting to settle down and raise my kids there. But being moved away from it numerous times has made me realize how much it means to me and how much it hurts to lose it. I will never take it for granted :)
