He might have still thought they were on the same page when it comes to commitment. If so, it's understandable that he felt blindsided, even if it was a long time coming for her. I am a child of divorce. I get it, I understand her. I don’t like marriage either. And it’s taught & talked about so much in Christian circles. And while I like & appreciate the sentiments that are taught about how to have a striving, healthy loving marriage im still kind of like “naaah im good.” Marriage is hard. Relationships are hard. I understand her. So I can’t judge her. But I still don’t like how she has dealt with this at ALL. She tears him down in public, she makes jokes and shows that’s she’s celebrating divorce on the opry stage. She’s blaming him for stuff.. again.. in public. Like it’s just not okay. I have little respect for Kelsea after this. I remember hearing about this about a year ago and I felt the same then too. Morgan handled the divorce much better than she did, especially since she was the one who literally said she didn’t want to get married in the first place but did anyway, and then reportedly cheated on him too.
