Kelsey gets a puppy

Our daughter Kelsey wanted a dog for Christmas. Our unique way of giving her one, thanks to Susan for the idea, was saying we were going to see the movie Marley & Me on Christmas day. She brought the stuffed animal that resembled Marley in the commercial previews for the movie. Kelsey did not know she was the one getting the puppy.
The puppy has been named Marley.

I see many of these that people give their kids puppies for Christmas / birthday. But the thing is, why adopt puppies? Why not 1 year olds? Just because older dogs are old doesnt mean they wont being you happiness? Don't you think all dog, big, small, medium, old, young deserves a chance? But anyways congrats on your new puppy I guess.

I have been wanting a dog since I was 7 years old and I am 12 now and I still don't have one I am hoping I will get one this Christmas but you never know. My mom doesn't want me to have one because she think I won't take care of it properly or I will get tired of it and I will want everyone else to take care of it. get an independent dog thats all grown up and if you can another younger dog or a cat or even rabbit make sure they are friendly with each other leave out puupy pads and food and cover all breakable things ask a neighbor to check in on them every now and again check out my channel i teach u about stuff like this hope it helps... oh and its kinda close to xmas god bless ya! ps there is a lil' present on my channel just type in " puppy love come true"

well. we all can detect your self righteousness from miles away!! why don't you go ahead and adopt all the strays yourself, Jesus! It's not a question of whether to buy a purebred or get a shelter-dog. I comes down to treating whatever animal you get as a companion with respect and love and never abandon it...also if the kid's got responsible parents who are you to judge if the Terrier is a good choice or not. That's where you're wrong. Christmas is just like any day, like 7th July or 3rd of January. The only thing what makes 24th December different is Christmas, a celebration. You can get a dog on ANY day as long as the family agrees to get one. Dogs are for ANYONE. So don't go on saying they aren't for kids. Kids have parents, they'll help make sure they're fine. I don't think anyone gets a dog to give it away the next minute.

i kept begging to my mum to get me one but she kept saying no so i gave up. then one night we were all sitting at the dinner table and she whispered to me were getting a puppy. and smiled.. and then i was sooo happy i was too happy to eat my food.. because the night before i was at my cousins house and they have a poodle puppy and my mum said i was so good with puppies that she let me have one.. but i'm not getting it till next year.. but i dont care im still getting one! :D
