I'm pretty sure Kelsey, Grace, and Nalyssa all played in the Chinese league on different teams. The Fever posted pics of them together when they would play each other's teams. I'm sure there's a lot of bonding there that far from home.

KM is on track to winning a Championship with the Fever and she is getting the attention that she never got. Why would she go anywhere else? Kelsey Mitchell, Aaliyah Boston, Lexi Hull and Caitlin Clark are Fever's Fantastic 4. They are young too. So I think they will be with Indiana for a long time and maybe even their entire career. They are Indiana Royalty right now.

Priority number one for the Fever would be to get better performances from the current roster under the new coaching team. There is loads of upside and untapped potential in Boston, Smith, Berger, Dantas, Hull and KLS. With such a talented young core, I would not sell the farm to trade in free agency. The Fever can top up in the draft.

They have the new Fever Facility set to start breaking ground this August, but the Fever already have Gainbridge Fieldhouse to use for practice and to play in now, which was newly renovated in 2020. The future facility that will be in use before the 2027 season will have a lot more amenities specifically catered to the Fever.

Imo they’re 3 players away from a title run. They need another biggger player that plays D and can score inside, they need a backup pg that can play D and control the pace when CC sits and they need a smaller forward that scores inside and outside with atleast decent defense. Sabally would be perfect but realistically I can see Bri Jones going to the Fever, Natasha Howard or Ogwumike would be great and a pg like Kia Nurse or Aari McDonald would work. I’m personally hoping for the Fever to trade for Gabby Williams.

I am on the Caitlin Clark Bandwagon; if it wasn't for CC I would have never met/listened to Rachel DeMita. I am now listening to ten different podcasters. CC salary for 2025 should be equivalent to the salary of and equivalent to second year players in the NBA. CC is the face of future basketball. WNBA shouldn't be dependent on endorsements for their pay. She CC is the face of basketball; she should be making fifty million a year.

The new CBA will mean higher salary numbers. Everyone who can is only signing contracts through 2025 so that they can sign new deals for more money in 2026. For example, Kelsey's max deal is like $250K/year in 2025, but under the new CBA in 2026, that number could be like $350K/year or even higher depending on what they can negotiate.

If you look at their cap sheet so far, they got like 600k + (not counting the core contract involving KM in here) to spend on 2 roster spots. That means like 350k to spend on 2 roster spots. So, they need to spend money to improve drastically: Upgrade the useless spots that aren't worth their talent like Kristy Wallace and NaLyssa Smith. Not that Smith is bad, but the team is in a situation with a player that doesn't want to be there and needs to be shipped for future picks or whatever. Kristy Wallace just needs to be upgraded to a player that is needed and will contribute to the team because the team has plenty of cap space to take 1 year rental risks at the moment. Berger and Saxton are interesting because they can give you the cap space room to play around with maxing players, or they can be used as trade assets to improve the roster now. Currently, Saxton doesn't play at all and doesn't have a role with the team so her position is a team need. Dantas and KLS at least can offer you some minutes, so it is a fair situation, but the other players are not worth keeping on the roster to occupy space for a more effective player. So long as they don't lose Clark, Boston, Hull, Mitchell--I would absolutely look to move and make any and every attempt at improving the roster with the other players present since the new CBA will reset entirely and give the entire structure a whole new playbook. Berger and Saxton are terrific for salary cap rookie scale shenanigans. Hull will have to be resigned next year. Mitchell will likely be a supermax multi-year deal, so you need to find a capable starter at PF and then have a draft-and-stash option for the future on standby when you need to move towards the AB/ CC contracts. I just feel that they've got too much money and haven't spent anything at all--so their moves or lack thereof is concerning. I hope they can get at least Howard as a consolation prize. Nneka and Satou are the only big fish left, and any two of those three would definitely help the team become a contender or title favorite. PG - Caitlin SG - Kelsey SF - Nneka PF - Howard or Satou C - Boston With Berger, Hull, KLS, and DD offering bench support + whatever other reserve big they draft or collect from Free Agency. The team might currently have the worst crop of forwards in the entire league, despite having probably the best backcourt in the league.
