Optic has been a staple set, I can’t see panini not making optic since this will most likely be their last year to make licensed football cards before fanatics/topps takes over and it’s one of their more popular sets. From what we have seen, panini isn’t holding back and they are trying to capitalize and make as much money before they lose the licenses. If the rumors are because they have optic previews in donruss, that’s been a thing for awhile now. Or maybe because there isn’t a date or listed on the future release calendars, but optic is usually one of the last sets released for that particular year. I remember there were rumors about 2022 select retail not being released and the same with 2022 optic, both of those released. Also, Mahomes rookie year is 2017. Congrats on the Goff!
