For me, if I feel like I need to stretch how my product I use I just add more water because it helps with the smoothing and making sure strands are fully coated. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous

I'm gonna try that oil over the deep conditioner. You ladies literally have wrote the book on this hair game. I cut my hair a lot. I've cut it to bald and now I'm growing it back. I am a 4c and daughter has your hair type and I tell her all the time to watch your vids to grow her hair. Her hair is as thick as yours but not long , but I would love to see her grow it out. I'm excited about deep conditioning this week with the oil to see what happens.... woot! woot!

I would recommend using a product called HydraCap. It's a plastic cap you can use with the heat of your blow dryer that "shrink wraps" to your head. It's less mess and traps the heat to help the conditioner penetrate more efficiently. You can find it at Sally's or Amazon.

I have been using SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Masque on wash day every two weeks since January, and I definitely see a difference in the health of my hair. I deep condition with heat, and have been doing so for almost 3 years this year. My hair is back to retaining length.

I will have to try these products out. I found that using two of the disposable shower caps works wonders for my hair. It keeps the heat from my scalp in the cap better and it forms its own steam.

You could deep condition about once a week or once every two weeks depending on how damaged your hair is .

I suggest you put the oil on your scalp (literally) to moisturize and to condition the place where the hair actually grows. It does wonders for my hair. And, I have the same (or very similar) hair texture as yours Kelsey. Actually, I think my hair texture may be more like Kendra's. It appears that her curl pattern may be a little bit more (or tighter) curly than yours. Is that the case?

I definitely recommend the hot head deep conditioning cap that you put in the microwave. makes dc'ing easy bc you can move around and it doesn't burn (I used to use the same attachment) beautiful curls!
