She’s getting wierded out and scared over Chad being rowdy at a game? Cmon. She needs to stop being fragile. It’s not like he yells at a fumble, then beats her with a bag of oranges.

Chad can like himself but maybe he could improve through learning about the ways his lite"autism" impact his relationship and improve his emotional intelligence (to better understand Kelsey, his kids and get closer to understanding her and them) to make his relationship with Kelsey better to smooth out the rough spots.

I've personally never yelled at a game and never understood yelling at sports, good or bad. Saying that, I don't understand being scared of someone being excited (good or bad) about a game. I'm in a fairly similar relationship when it comes to the differences of emotions towards random things. Is there a way for Chad to express his extreme emotions with sports (yelling) without it being scary? How much of what Chad talks about is stuff that gets implemented vs. just him trying to get laughs? In this instance, is Kelsey going to try and be more vigilant and prepared for the outbursts during the games like Chad is saying or will there be some sort of middle ground solution that gets implemented later? Thanks for all the laughs!

I yelled so damn loud and swore so much at Darnold's dumb ass during the Vikings game. Chad is 100% in the right right

I'm also a highly sensitive person, and even just the constant background noise from watching live sports is sooo irritating to me! I agree with what Kelsey said about just acknowleding that it is what it is because there's nothing wrong with the way either of you are! I think just adjusting expectations and Kelsey - maybe just reminding yourself that if it gets loud and startling - you're still in a safe space. It sounds like the yelling/being startled makes you feel unsafe? Maybe you can re-train your nervous system and re-associate the cheering/frustration/overall loud football spectating environment by reminding yourself that you're safe. Either way, have you seen those earbuds, like Loop or something, that filter out a lot of background noise? Maybe those would help if it's important for you guys to watch these games together? I've heard those can be helpful for highly sensitive people or other sensory processing disorders. Just wanted to throw it out there! You guys are amazing

I’m 9 years older than my hubby. We rarely think about it between us, occasionally there are awkward questions from the socially oblivious or overly curious. Humor is our favorite response. The only times it ever really felt weird was back in the early days of our relationship when I met his mom and Step-dad… she was young when she had my husband, and dad is younger. Step dad and I get along like we’ve been friends for years; same music, movies, references etc. Def awkward when mom got jealous while still harboring resentment from me ‘taking’ her first born 🙄. One time that stuck in my head was just a moment of 🤦🏽♀️ ‘doh’ when we were standing in line for the re-release of Star Wars, I had seen it on its first debut and the hubby hadn’t been born yet.😳 Like the Ch-elsey said, if you’re happy and it works for you? Screw everyone else. Love is Love.

if your employer does not put your personal life first, you need a new job. Personal ALWAYS comes before anything in this world, your family, your mental health, your support network. It sounds like a divorce is in order. You should try therapy first, if both parties can't agree to that, it's already over. LIFE LESSON, WE BECOME OUR PARENTS.

Quite taken by Kelsey's look today. Kelsey Look. First of all, those pants... wonderful. And the sweatshirt is a great Better Call Saul reference. Also, was Chad ALSO a fan of Randal Cunningham's local talk show? I was eight years old watching that and knowing, "Oh... not every charismatic black athlete is good on camera." This is before I made the mistake of watching Space Jam. Take it from me, The Looney Tunes Critic.... no one should ever watch Space Jam for any reason. - trevor.
