Massive props to you for protecting Otis’ privacy, something we just don’t see enough in internet personalities, I absolutely love that you’re doing this. I love so much how you’re spreading really honest and safe advice, and double checking with your doctor before spreading information. Mums and dads need honest and true advice, and that can be really hard to find especially in people profiting off their content. I work with children and in healthcare, so it’s just a massive relief. Sooooo huge to also promote mums and dads making sure they have time for themselves, things like working out or just taking a break to read a book or something is so impactful for your mental health. Making sure you still get in dates if you have a partner, and seeing your friends, are so important. You are still a human being as well as a parent, and people forget that they’re allowed time for themselves especially while their baby is young, so it’s so wonderful to see this being promoted. The formula trick is actually something I also recommend to people, and something we do for tube fed kids all the time - it’s brilliant! You can also bring some formula out in an insulated container/bag with an ice brick to make bottles on the go easier. Just a reminder to everyone else though, make sure you do not reheat formula once heated. Double check that your specific formula brand is okay to be in the fridge for 24 hours, but the majority of formulas are safe to be in the fridge for 24 hours, and then need to be disposed of. There may be brands though that aren’t suitable for this. Really super proud of you, and Cody. I love the honesty, double checking with the doctors before giving advice, as well as making sure you’re feeling secure in your decisions for your baby. Sending so so much love to all 3. 💜
