I use the little green machine all the time. They sell a cleaner with it that works pretty well but my favorite is the folex cleaner.

Another idea for your yard under the trees would be hostas. This perennial grows well in the shade. You could arrange them around the trees and use black mulch where the grass doesn’t grow.
