I got the optic slide with CT red dot and it ran out of adjustment with bore sight ..how does the red dot adjustment work it only seems to be clock wise

nice stipple job. did you use a Dremel or soldering iron? I just picked up a new model green/black p17 for $215 along with a romeo zero, micro comp cause why not, streamlight tlr-6 and one of those optic mounts. I found a 3d printed mount which would be lighter but i wanted the rigidity of the aluminum and i will probably drill some small holes along the center of the mount under where the optic covers to lighten it more just in case.

Best to buy a dry fire block for it from eBay. But a small amount of dry fire shouldn’t hurt.

Nice, I just picked up one of these and was curious if a red dot would impede reliability due to the added weight to the slide but yours seems to be running pretty good.

With some weaker ammo it does. Also helps to polish the underside of the flat bar of the slide and lube contact points

Any 'failure to feed' issues with the weight of the red dot? I have a P17 and am thinking of buying the same get up from the forum guy as well.

Actually yes. Before the red dot I could run federal bulk pack. After it would cause stove pipes. Now I use either cc1 standard velocity or Remington golden bullets which run 100%

I was able to find a p17 as well, and plan on putting an olight Baldr mini light and laser on it as well as a Romeo 0 elite. Since you've already done so what would you charge to make me a right-handed IWB clip on holster and ship it to Indiana? You could actually probably start a decent little business just making holsters for the tens of thousands of p17s Kel-Tec is going to sell.

I just put the plate with a romeo zero elite red dot. Seems to cycle good. But the slide will engage now when loading the mag. It will slam closed. Anybody else run into this issue? Other wise it runs good so far. Just run 100 rounds with only one fte. Didn’t eject one shell.
