Yep, you're now my go to musician for my "guitar" chords! 🎸🤷♂️🎸
@shastakeys12 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the chords to this: very similiar to what i transcribed quickly under pressure to play it in a band with vocals and Sax. Noticed how i had fallen into a routine (continue to play slightly off chords) and hearing you play the chords made me realize that you transcribed them more precisely...Appreciate the good work...

Real good. Awesome job. I've been waiting on this. Bass player needed the left hand more than I did. Peace. And thanks for sharing.
@elZonke12 жыл бұрын
but honestly man you've got the best song selection. I really wish they still produced music like this, but only new stuff i can find with an older funky vibe is breakbot/other occasional french electro. Your tutorials are awesome, keep doin your thing, ill try to spread the word so your blog gets more traffic!!

it's 2015 now in the month of april did you add an virtual keyboard to this tutorial because this song is going to be a classic, I would like to order this tutorial!!.people that like kem's music are gonna want to play this song, the virtual keyboard really cut-down your learning curve. The sounds in this video are coming from Logic. The bass is scarbee pre-bass, and the rhodes is the built in rhodes patch that comes with Logic Pro. The keyboard is just being used as a MIDI controller here :)

It gives me hope that RnB has a future, even if it does looks super processed and electric. I think that as we go into the future, all music forms will become more and more electric and take on aspects of techno/electronica, including funk/soul. Its something im still getting used to haha. Just my 2 cents anyway.
@JuveniI12 жыл бұрын
Haha its true, why only occasional french electro ? :D I like the last LP of Para One called "Passion" ( french again), not very funk but smooth and electric, like a electronic and rnb/hiphop fusion listen it! :)

haha thanks a ton man!! I appreciate it. Yeah I feel the same way. I hate to say it but the RnB that we all know and love seems to me to be pretty much dead... or at least its turned into a pop hybrid that totally lacks funk and soul... Personally, I dont want an old school revival- that era has come and gone, although it produced some amazing music- what I want to see is RnB moving forward, and not disappearing and its funny that the french electro scene is reviving RnB.
trying to follow the bass notes but too fast. please tell us them .

I like your tutorials, but brotha, the last thing we need in this world is more cursing, drinking, and smoking. With all the talent you have, you're better than that. Those things interfere with your productivity. Change your tune, quit those 3 things, KZbin numbers will skyrocket, & you'll make a living doing this. How about more prayer for COVID relief and the violent protesting to stop? Thank you for teaching soulful music. I love how music can touch us all, regardless of skin color.
