It looks functional and a good value but what about removing it in the summer and the adhesive factor onto the roll cage?

Just roll the windows down or you can take them completely off and leave the adhesive on since there is Velcro. Worst case scenario you take the Velcro pieces off and get some double sided tape and reinstall the following season. The adhesive shouldn’t hurt the plastic or the cage.

I would think you'd be fine just leaving the velcro pieces adhered on the machine until the next cold season. Worst case scenario they accumulate dirt/mud/grime and you give them a clean before reinstalling the window for the cold season. Or if you don't like the esthetics of the chunks of velcro left on the machine during the warmer months simply peel/scrape it off, get yourself some 2 way tape and more velcro and reinstall the velcro strips the following winter to put the windows back on.
