Im South Asian and in our culture, there is no color restriction or such a thing as “upstaging the bride.” If someone looks better then the bride, then the bride probably didn’t do her job to be a standout on her big day! Dubai really want the Caroline types to come into the UAE, and many are living there and visit there, they always use the white European face to promote Dubai to the world, as it is marketing tactics. White face to them is marketable worldwide. that is why the show is somehow centred Around Caroline. It always been, look at Emirates airlines they use White European flight attendants as the face of advertisement to the world etc.

Did Juliet forget that 99% of the time especially that first season Caroline Stanbury use to treat her and the other American girls like absolute ****. She was an uppity Menace who loved to party, treat her staff bad, and be a drive by mother. Let's see what she brings in S2 when she's not busy with her wedding, she's quick witted. Sergio played for Real Madrids U19 team and their C-Team: never in the actual major leagues! the CTeam played in Spains 5th league so waaaaay down, which definitely doesn't earn you a lot of money. He was then transfered to relatively unknown teams (in Europe) like Icelands league etc.. He is also "retired" at 27 which is very uncommon in Soccer. And even spent a little time without a team which is not uncommon in the US, but extremely uncommon for Soccer in Europe. Sooooo..... he is not even close to being a known or well paid player in Europe.

People who only speak English and especially if they've only ever been in English speaking countries don't appreciate just how people can get lost in the language. It can get really tricky when using words not usually used in everyday language or idioms - you instinctively go for words that you know to fill in the blanks even if it doesn't really make sense.
