Come on are you saying you would rather see this car sit and rot out u til nothing left. I'm not sure that was it's destiny but many cars that is their destiny so why not put whatever it takes in them to get them on the road again and I think it's freaking cool sorry I am definitely not a Honda person or a rice burner car but I think it's cool and come on you know that those Honda engines will blow away Ford engines all day long

@@timwegman5776 This though is a 2018 Mustang GT possibly the Performance Pack with Magneride Suspension. I know how these could handle the and break very well in shorter distance than the lighter Camaro. Though, tire choice may have lots do with it as well. I know because I have a 2016 Performance Pack it handle the Canyons Roads very well at higher lateral speed I had pulled 1.5 G's and I have video on Canyon Roads in Southern and Middle part in California in My Automotive PlayList

Thanks so much Mr. Davis, I appreciate it a bunch! Paint and body is something I picked up because my friends owned a shop and they offered to give me a summer job so I can learn. One of the best decisions I ever made. I’ve learned a ton and it’s been an absolute blast! I’ve watched tons of videos from you geniuses from the prior generation, so nothing would be possible with you all! If you’re into crazy cool builds, I watch someone on KZbin called bad chad customs, he’s an older guy but man oh man the things he builds leaves me in disbelief. Hope you have a great one my good sir, thanks for the comment!

This is of the finest Mustang body swaps I have seen on KZbin. I have seen over 5 different mustang body swaps and none of them had operational windshield wipers. Something so simple and yet these body swaps couldn't make it happen.
@FurhadBuilds
@FurhadBuilds Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much man, That means alot! I Definitely tried my darnest to get every detail functional and operational no matter how much time or difficulty it gave me. Believe it or not, the wipers was actually one of the hardest thing i had to do on the car haha. The 66 mustang wiper motor interfered with the 2018 mustang dash so that was a no go. The 2018 mustang wiper motor was massive and went where the 66 mustang cowl went, so that was a no go. So i had to cut the cowl out, install universal hot rod wiper motors with a cable driven spin tog et the mechanism to work. And in doing so, the windshield opening got too big because the pressure of the 2018 frame was pulling it apart, so i had to use like 4 ratchet straps to get the a pillars back close together haha. Fun time haha! But hey, definitely worth it! Now i can wipe my tears away with how much of my youth and money i spent on the car.

At first I wasn't a fan of the side pipes but on this build it looks really good! probably the best body swap build so far. The wide body makes the car.

@@Theupstateidiots thanks man! And aye right on, you definitely should, it’s really not too tough, and quite a few reference videos online. @@FurhadBuilds it's tough. I just want my dad to rip a 1-2 shift and burn some rubber. He's 73 and not doing great. We bought the car when I was 15 and never got to build it so now I'm rushing to get it going. I have all the replacement panelsl to replace my frame rails and everything already. Hopefully I can get it driving and then make it look pretty later on in life.
@FurhadBuilds
@FurhadBuilds Жыл бұрын
@@Theupstateidiots hey man sorry to hear about your dad, the good news is that he’s still around and that you still have the time. I think you’ve got the right idea, get it running, let him have the time of his life and make those memories and then you can make it look pretty later. That’s how nearly every full restoration build goes too. I made the mistake of getting impatient and wanting to see the car painted after like 70+ days of straight body work with no breaks and I ended up regretting it because I had to drop it back off to get sprayed and had to redo some body work. So I think you’ve definitely got the right game plan, wishing you all the best! There’s no better day to start, than the present

Hello, thanks! I got the flares from maier racing, the owner's name is charles maier, you can call him and he will tell you what flares i bought, they're from a line called "italian monster"

Nicely done. Only thing I would change is putting the stock seats back in. Have never been a fan of the bucket racing seats as they made for small guys.

Thanks so much! Putting the stock seats is definitely something i've considered doing to get back that classic feel, I definitely might put them back in sometime in the future! Love the look of the original seats!
