@@joemama-mj5rt not close at all, i dont mean that in a bad way but we are talking about forza horizon 4 here. i have driven a BMW GT4 car in real life thats the only race car i have driven, and i have a $6000 racing sim. but that includes the computer into the price. I play in virtual reality and just the pedals on my sim rig cost more than an Xbox one X the PC has 9x more processing power than an xbox one so when i play a simulation game like Iracing or assetto corsa/Rfactor 2. its as close as you can get to real life, just a single steering wheel for the motor cost me $399, so ide say with all my sim equiptment and the simulation programs i use to race i could judge how realistic it is to my real life Track days. i drive a 2014 focus ST thats stage 3, my racing instructor at the real life track has a BMW GT4 car that he has let me drive while he sits passenger. and ive driven the same car on simulation with my wheel and pedals ect... and it does not feel like real life. the motions are same like when i brake and turn in, apexes those are the same. but the overall feeling is not even close. in a video game even in virtual reality when you hit the brakes in a race car you just see your speed go way down. in real life with racing brakes and a slick tire the G force that pulls you forward is unlike anything ive felt. its so powerful of a force that its distracting. and thats just for a near 400 horsepower GT4 M3 racecar. Ken blocks hoonicorn at 1400 horsepower when you floor that car full throttle, the sheer violence of that acceleration would scare you. i drive alot irl and on sim and i got to drive a 900 horsepower C7 Z06 that was upgraded with a procharger, it could have been a turbo but for how big it was and the fact it was infront of the motor and not on the sides, i think it was a procharger (a belt driven turbo pretty much) long story short that was only 900hp on a factory weight corvette and the sheer force it put out scared the living shit out of me. Kens car is gutted with 1400hp AWD, i cannot imagine how violently that car accelerates. i was shaking from driving that corvette, i was allowed to take it around for as long as i wanted and i brought it back after 1 lap, and was shaking, my hands and feet were like shivering. it felt like a machine, not a car. my simulator cannot simulate that feeling even with the expensive parts and virtual reality, now just a logitec G29 on a TV will be maybe 5% of what its like in real life. because my $6000 simulator isnt even 40% of what its like in real life. you would have to be VERY brave to drive the hoonicorn in real life. and i mean VERY brave. 10/10 people would want to drive it, untill they got in it and step on the gas, it WILL 100% scare the shit out 99.9% of people that think they could drive that car in real life. it took Ken a long time to get used to the hoonicorn and you saw all the cars he drove before that, the hoonicorn seems like it still to this day scares ken a bit by the way he talks about it

@Toby N. that's partially true. Sometimes the force feedback is wrong and it will make u crash if u listen to it. Ur definitely faster on a controller. However the game is still more fun on a wheel

It never functions properly for me or my friend, we had separate setups also!!! So sad bcuz it worked great for Need For Speed and the original Forza Motorsports games!!!! But honestly l, nothing beats the true feeling of having a steering wheel in your hands!!!

You have to get an adjustable wheel one that can swap from f1 to rally to street it will change how far the wheel is able to turn and some are even more adjustable but that will gauranteed fix your problem with the wheel

"The way they worked with me on the way it handles, and the acceleration." Meanwhile, 90% of players just download a tune and never actually drive the thing stock. I've always wanted to race unmodified stock cars in Forza, but the way the AI is, it's always just a disadvantage if you don't tune it. It's surprisingly fun driving around unmodified cars. Especially like, heavy ass A class cars.
