Glad you mentioned that video game shit cause it’s almost like a full circle moment. This all derives from Carti sound but one of Cartis biggest moments for fans was when he rapped over Mexikodro beats in like 2014/15 and made that sound spread like a virus in the underground and SoundCloud at the time. Gotta give credit to Diego money too cause he was one of the first to fw mexikodro but Carti took that shit to another level + eventually linked with Pierre Bourne who REALLY popularized the sega/nintendo type beats w Carti. And now we got Ken Carson rapping over beats that feel like video game glitches
