Ken Hensley - Baja Prog Live Mexicali (2005)

Kenneth William David Hensley (24 August 1945 - 4 November 2020) was an English keyboardist, songwriter, singer and guitarist, best known for his work with Uriah Heep in the 1970s.
Hensley was one of Uriah Heep's original members, and author of most of his songs, from 1969 to 1980, when he left the band, to pursue his solo career.
Hensley participated in bands such as The Gods, Toe Fat, Weed or Head Machine, and collaborated with hard rock and heavy metal artists such as Blackfoot, W.A.S.P., John Wetton and John Lawton, among others

Ты здесь такой молодой и жизнерадостный, лучезарный и возвышенный!!! У меня катятся слёзы, когда пишу эти слова признания тебе, твоему глубокому следу, что ты оставил на Земле и в моей памяти и в моей жизни! Я всегда, еще с 1973 года (мне было 15 лет), когда впервые, на "бобиннике" у старшего брата, услышал музыку URIAH HEEP - ТВОЮ музыку, любил эти мелодичные и, в чём-то, печальные композиции, к которым так бесподобно подходил вокал и манера исполнения Дэвида Байрона! Тогда, ещё в молодости, я больше всего "заводился" от тяжёлого блюзового "кача" Led Zeppelin, от гитары Джимми Пейджа и тяжёлой и непредсказуемой манеры Джона Боннэма (сам барабанщик, играл в Ленинградской хард-рок группе "Скиталец", 1976-1983 г.г.), напористого и тяжёлого драйва Deep Purple, а ещё от мрачной тяжести Black Sabbath. Кроме этого, задумчиво-филосовский Pink Floyd, красивый органно-классический ELP, драйвовый Sweet, хулиганский Slade, мелодичная, мягко-грустная музыка Shocking Blue и, конечно же, The Beatles! Но, повзрослев, лет с 30-ти на недосягаемый Пъедестал я вознёс неповторимую мелодичность твоего гения! Все красивейшие мелодии URIAH HEEP и из твоих сольных альбомов, потому-что это - Великая Музыка, несущая мысль, а это - главное в любом творчестве. "From Time to Time" с твоего первого "сольника" мы даже исполняли году в 1975-76 (в припеве я подпевал фальцетом вторым голосом). Папа (джазмен-клавишник и композитор), послушав ту запись, спросил: "У вас там ещё и девица подпевает?" А я: "Ведь, это я фальцетом!" Я только чуть-чуть успел прикоснуться к тебе в 2000-х и 2010-х годах, в твои приезды в Санкт-Петербург и наша переписка по e-mail , и твои восхищённые отзывы на мой проект гипер спорткара URIAH HEEP "Demons and Wizards"до моего ухода будут согревать меня воспоминаниями: "Какой ты был Гениальный и Неповторимый Человек!!!" ♥️ Светлая, Чистая и Высокая память тебе, Маэстро КЕН ХЕНСЛИ !!! ♥️ Спасибо автору канала за прекрасный концерт Кена Хенсли.
