You forgot one thing that is actually used in competitive play: easier reversal LP Shoryuken. Generally, Ken's LP Shoryuken is the prefered one to use as a wakeup reversal, due to its quick recovery and the first hit knockdown. You can only use the LP button to activate it though, so using an input technique like piano-ing the punch buttons won't work, because you might get one of the two other Shoryukens, which might leave you open to a punish. If you know your last performed special was a LP Shoryuken however, you can input a reversal super and piano all the punch buttons and know for sure you will get a LP Shoryuken.

@@henrylove514 It's an arcade stick technique, where you hit a whole row of buttons one after the other in quick succession, as if playing a piano. So let's say you want to do a reversal dragon punch and you don't care which strength comes out, you input the directions, then you hit lp, mp, hp, to give you extra chances of the move coming out, rather than just one.

I been telling people bout this glitch for over a decade, and no one ever believed me because basically no videos ever shown it in depth. Thanks for finally making a proper video on this obscure glitch. What’s funny is that it hits even more if you do H Air Tatsu, from what I’ve experienced.

This is this way for a reason. This was fixed in HD remix and it made kenan to a monster. Let's say you did have the sure you can come out instead of the last movie you used. Going to take through a situation you know have a mix-up and option select between a mash grab, an srk you can and a super. And if the super can be used as reversal you basically can't zone him. Which puts him right back into tick throw range.

Having that rare situational advantage is almost a non-positive, even the best ken players in the world dont take advantage of it or it never really comes up in real play. We all just want that super reversal. Try New Legacy, that has this bug fixed. Also fun fact, Sagat and Dhalsim have this same reversal bug in the game.

This is just the 30th anniversary edition. You could also use FBalpha with a training mode Lua script though
