I would call all 3 of them toxic... Becky cheating on her husband and hiding the marriage from Mike, Mike being ultra clingy, forcing her to get married and being incredibly superficial (calling her beautiful all the time yada-yada and not having meaningful conversations), Jeff being self-absorbed and way too career-oriented to the point of neglecting his wife's needs... My guess is that Mike and Becky never really moved on from each other and she was in a vulnerable place emotionally, especially after her dad's passing. Jeff not being there for her emotionally and Desiree cheating on her spouse probably influenced her to do crazy things, such as having an affair and getting married to her past lover. There was a lack of maturity and accountability from all three sides in my opinion. I appreciate that Jeff was willing to work on their relationship after everything that happened. I liked him better than Mike. Big thumbs up for Angie, the voice of reason. 👍🏻 Enjoyable movie all things considered.

She was married to two men only one month. Was pushed into signing the paper/marriage certificate by the spontaneous second man, who wanted all or nothing very fast, so under the pressure of the man she loved, - the girl caved in. Therefore, unless we've been in same situation - we shouldn't throw the stones at her. Many men had secretly been married to two women for many years, having 2 sets of children on top of it.

She turned back into a young girl who had just fallen in love all over again with her first love, and all of the feelings came rushing back, and she played into them for and relived her dream romance he was her missing link everything she’d desired she founded within her first love and shared and relived memories she didn’t get to. But he was so forceful and so in your face ready to take on the world and get married she did try to tell him at certain times but was unable to do so…… He lived life at the moment and she didn’t and her first original husband was to busy and caught up in his career and being the best doctor he didn’t even get to know his wife or care to much about her feelings as he should’ve but he was a good husband and for the most part she was a good wife she just got mixed up and caught up within the feelings she wished her first husband had for her and she eventually went with it although he gave her half of everything so she didn’t do to bad and the ended for she and her first husband was sweet.

I am not judging her. Judging is easy. Understanding is always more challenging. She loved two wonderful men, that were in love with her as well. Usually, It's hard to come across one to have mutual loving committed relationship with for many people - that's why nobody can relate to it. It happens rarely, but it's possible to love two at the same time. Just like you love two children and are not able to choose one over the other. Same thing happened here. It's the societal pressure to comply with the structure of marriage and therefore - structure of feelings, to have things in order, as God and people expect of you...
@lissam9569 ай бұрын
It might be easy for some people to fall in love with multiple partners but the hard part is to do the right thing. Polygamy is not right and it’s not because society tells you so but because God told us. People are having problems dealing with a partner now imagine with two or more. Now imagine a family with a woman and two dads in a home, do you think that would be easy on them and the kids? Who will be the dad of those kids? Is she going to have two kids with each man? That’s nonsense! It’s easy to love two people at the same time what’s hard it’s to keep faithful to one and love till death. What’s hard for many is to the right thing.

The whole while watching this movie I couldn't help think what a messed up society we have! And how twisted everything is. I am not condoning bigamy, but it really seems ironic that she gets in trouble with the law, and goes to jail, and is put on probation for having two husbands, yet sexual perverts can marry and even adopt children and the state thinks that is hunky dory! @@tngirl341 You have no doubt heard the old saying: "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." It is only because of the ranting and raving of the sodomites over many years, that our now ungodly nation has accepted sexual perversion as normal. I will guarantee you that if enough people started ranting and raving to have plural marriages, this would also be accepted and become legal. Gods plan was for it to be one man and one woman, but He did work with and even bless people in the bible who had multiple wives. But homosexuality has NEVER been condoned, only condemned in Gods word. So yes, to me it is ironic that what this woman did was worthy of jail, yet sodomites are accepted in this culture. Bass- ackwards if you ask me.

I have loved 2 m3n before, for very different reasons, at the same time. Worst situation of my life. You really can't have everything. Life is not meant to be like that. And when it comes to love, you have to choose so no one gets hurt. When you have too many eggs in one basket, someone always gets hurt. Don't do it. Bad karma. Great movie, very good performances. s it me, or were actors back then much better? They were all really amazing. Good story, and good message at the end.

Back in 1994 they could get away with "but i need to learn who I am before I can learn to love anyone" from someone who'd just lost two great men and thinks she'll find another in San Francisco. Those were simpler times then. Email wasn't even being used yet. Nobody would call a screen writer's bluff about the heroine not wanting a penny of alimony from a man she didn't love but who loved her and about the total nonsense that a top surgeon going on emergency calls is likely to lose the love of his life because he's not paying enough attention to her. This movie was a study in narcissism

I grew up watching Connie Sellecca in TV movies & commercials. She was sort of an 'idol' of mine when I was a teenager. She is very beautiful but she also has an 'inner light' that few people possess. I didn't like the show HOTEL back then, but I did like GREATEST AMERICAN HERO!
@rolls-royceowner1108 Жыл бұрын
@@taracollins5597 How could you not like "Hotel" with all of the guest stars and different plots each week? The variety of stars performing was the theme of every show. This is what made this TV series great. I like Bette Davis for her role. I wish her health had held out. Anne Baxter was outstanding as Victoria Cabot. But it was James and Connie that was the element which kept the series going full speed ahead! I watched every episode. Just hearing the music from the intro still gives me goose bumps!

No woman lying like that and sneaking around deserves both those men’s love. Hard enough to get one true love in life when you aren’t a deceiver let alone when you do what she did. She was a bit of a nutcase.
@maricamaas2326 Жыл бұрын
She simply went a bit further with the adultery than most do. Sneaking around, and lies are parcel to all marital infidelity. Interesting to take note of, is that the supposed mid-life crisis; where they apparently are suddenly lost and in need of finding themselves; often hits just after the death of their parent/s. When someone had never really left their parent/s emotionally; then cleaving to their marriage partner cannot occur properly. Additionally, if someone had always been depending on (a) parent/s' validation; when there suddenly is no need to please them anymore; they then can more easily give in to the temptation to start doing whatever they always wanted to do (even things they would not admit to themselves that they were lusting after).

He also very, very sexy "In I'll take Manhattan" with Barry Botswick and Valerie Bertinelli, although the character he plays is loathesome. He plays bad guys as often as good guys.@@MargarettaCarrecter
