Ken those rickshaw driver didn't understand English, for snake charmer Rupees 100 is okay 150 is good, piece of advice when paying for this kind of stuff remain under 300 hundred 100 or two hundred is enough, never take out 500 bill, 2nd don't give money to beggars buy them food if you want, incase to give money it should be less than 50 rupees, You can't eat spicy food so ask for non spicy or less spicy or tell them before ordering food, avoid those sauces. Suggestion: burns road food street, port grand ( food and music etc ), Pakistan air force museum ( it's a fun place, nice park, rides, food etc along with war plans ), Beaches are great, in the city " Sea view ", clifton beach, " Do Darya " Out of city: Manora beach ( it's an island few year back connected to land via road, you can take boat ride to Manora beach or take taxi or something as well, Hawks bay ( it's bit out of city on the way to Manora beach ) Mubarak village nice clean beach as well. Churna island ( along with other fun Sea activities they have scuba diving and it's amazing ) You can google all these places for map, distance, revives, pictures and videos. There are many places to see, how long will you be staying in karachi?

I am Pakistani Citizen, studying in China. Welcome to PAKISTAN. I got to say some important things to you. First of all, you may ask Hotel admin to help you get a guide who can move along with you. I see that you are totally moving local without any guidance, so that may put in some trouble at night time. Also the language is the issue so even good people may not be able to guide you well. You may visit Burns Road for Food, and Sea View Karachi, but its not that clean. You may goto Hawks Bay for better Sea View but not alone. Good luck

Greetings from America. I am a Pakistani American and often watch the westerners' perspective about visiting Pakistan because I am myself not been to Pakistan much in decades. I think our German vlogger could have used a local guide and tried to speak a bit slowly in English and also tried something like Google translate to use Urdu words. Unlike almost all Latin American countries, Pakistan DOES have a significant part of the population who know sufficient English. But I have to say to Habib Bank: Shame on you for no English in your ATM at such an important airport like Karachi Airport. You are probably the largest bank in Pakistan and this?!

* Use the words 'tuk-tuk' or 'rickshaw' to ask, 'How much does it cost?' = 'Kitnay paisay?' Additionally, for your destination, it is better to use an online taxi app. Be cautious with street food, as it can ruin your trip; consider carrying charcoal pills or similar remedies. Make sure to visit Islamabad and Lahore, and in the summer, Northern Pakistan is a must-visit destination. If approached by beggars, simply say no; they will continue to ask for money, so it is best to avoid them and respond with 'nahi' or 'no.'" Hope you will enjoy your time in Pakistan ❤ good luck

Hi. I recently got Pakistani visa and it is for free for 126 nationalities including Germany and is issued instantly. No LOI is needed. You have to apply for "Visa prior to arrival" option and not a "tourist" option in visa application and it will be free and instant. It is valid for tourism and business. So you paid for something that was not needed.

You should not to worry about Pakistan, Pakistan is very safe country. People in Pakistan are very good. One difficulty you will face in Pakistan is Language Barrier so try to use google translator for communication with locals because many locals don't understand English. Avoid beggers in Pakistan (if you wanna give 50/100 is enough). Hello, Ken, my name is Li Qin, from Chongqing, China. I'm currently a junior university student. I absolutely enjoy watching your videos, which not only lead me to explore new places and experience the unique local customs and traditions of various regions, adding a splash of color to my daily life, but more importantly, I'm deeply touched by the kindness you exhibit in your videos. You integrate the principle of "being friendly to others" into every detail of your life, which I find incredibly admirable. It was in early April this year when I stumbled upon your videos on Bilibili, a platform in China. I remember watching your Shanghai series, and it felt like I was traveling through Shanghai along with you, even though I had never set foot there before. Your emotional stability and strong adaptability are traits that deeply attract me, and I ended up binge-watching all your videos about traveling in China. I particularly admire how you observe and experience the lives of ordinary people everywhere without any preconceived biases. This attitude of yours has profoundly influenced me, making me more friendly, optimistic, and positive. Your videos are usually around half an hour long, and you've mentioned that only this duration allows you to fully present what you want to show us. Fridays have become my happy days! After discovering that your videos are primarily published on KZbin, despite the platform not being accessible in China, I downloaded it and subscribed to your channel. I feel a bit guilty about watching pirated videos on Bilibili before. I'm not sure if those uploaders had your authorization and compensated you; if not, I believe their actions infringed upon your rights. The local customs and traditions you've experienced are invaluable to me, and your kind heart is even more precious. I aspire to learn from you. If you ever have a chance to visit Chongqing, I would be thrilled. This city is also full of character, though its cuisine is mainly spicy, which might not suit your taste. My English is limited, and I wrote this message in Chinese first before translating it with Google Translate. I hope you can sense how much I enjoy your videos and wish you a happy, healthy, and joyful life.
@KenAbroad26 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot 🙏 yeah my videos are all uploaded to bilibili etc without my permission, that happened to all my videos in China. Thanks for watching here on youtube 😊
@user-vp1vt7fk9z26 күн бұрын
I am deeply sorry for their actions, as your videos were uploaded to the Bilibili platform without your authorization and garnered significant traffic, with one video even reaching a viewership of four hundred thousand. I suspect that these uploaders were so brazen because they believed that, due to restrictions on accessing KZbin in China, many people would be unable to view your original videos directly. Although they credited the source of the videos as KZbin, this does not excuse the fact that they did not obtain your consent as the original blogger, which constitutes a violation of your copyright according to Chinese law. However, this situation has placed me in a contradictory position. Because if it weren't for these uploaders, I might still be unaware of your existence. In a way, their uploading behavior indirectly opened a window for me, allowing me to access your high-quality content. This leaves me feeling quite helpless.
I'm in china and lemme tell you something, China is an AWESOME country. I fell for thr propoganda in my early days when I was "ABOUT" to come to China..though, my dad later on made me feel secured, secured my fears, kinda.- Anywho, your country is great!

"Welcome to Pakistan! 😊 Since you’re in Karachi, I’d highly recommend you visit Mohenjo-Daro and Larkana as well. These places are full of history and culture, and they’ll give you a real taste of Pakistan's ancient roots. Mohenjo-Daro is one of the oldest cities in the world, dating back to around 2500 BCE, and was part of the Indus Valley Civilization. It’s known for its advanced architecture, planned streets, and even ancient drainage systems! Mohenjo-Daro is truly a glimpse into the past, showing how advanced early civilization was. This incredible site is located near Larkana, which is another place you should explore. Larkana itself is a lively city with traditional Sindhi culture. It’s full of beautiful handicrafts, and you’ll experience the warmth of local hospitality. The distance from Karachi to Larkana is around 420 kilometers, so it’s a journey, but absolutely worth it if you enjoy history and culture. And while you’re here, don’t miss trying Sindhi Biryani and Sajji! Pakistani food is as rich as its history, so be sure to enjoy every flavor.@@KenAbroad

I was on a two-week business trip in Pakistan a decade ago, right after the Christmas of 2014, and not long after one of the biggest terrorist attacks in Peshawar city of the country. If any Pakistanis here, they should know what I am talking about. And you were staying in the same hotel that I was lol. I'm Chinese by the way, so I received huge amount of welcomes there, people treated me extreme nicely, economy was/is indeed not good, and the northern part of the country was/is indeed not really safe, do hope our government could help them more, build more infrastructures and help them develop faster. Terrorism grows when people are poor and desperate, only good economy helps solving this problem. Pakistanis people have my best wishes, and so do you Ken, have a safe and good trip as always.

@@KenAbroad "Welcome to Pakistan! Pakistani food is as rich as its history, so be sure to enjoy every flavor.
