Well done Ken on getting 50000 subscriptions! You are helping us get through lockdown here in the UK. We visited Maya Bay many years ago when you were allowed to go onto the beach. It was crowded with many sightseers. So nice to see it looking so peaceful now. Enjoy this wonderful experience!

I remember getting off the boat at 6 in the morning....by 6.05 it was full! feel very blessed to be able to have walked on that sand.

Thai government consider to re-open maya bay soon (maybe this July but still in consideration process). Now they will limit tourist to 300 persons per day and everybody have to enter the beach from behind the island. No longtail boat or speed boad allowed to enter the front beach to protect coral reef

I've been to all these places some years ago. We stayed on Railay beach (recommend). Sorry that people are suffering a bit with no tourists but also nice to see the water and beaches "recovering" from decades and millions of people trampling everywhere - including me :) Nice vids...

Love your video's Ken, keep them coming! I've been on koh Phi Phi five times in the past ten years. Last time was about four years ago. The beach at the opposite side of the island from the pier used to be full of beach bars filled with backpackers and loud music, partying throughout the night. Not my cup of tea either, but I feel sorry for the local business owners. The tours are amazing and now it seems even better without the thousands of tourists. Thank you for sharing your experience! 🙏

What a beautiful scenery around Phi Phi island! I’ve been there at Maya Bay many years ago before they have a restricted area. At that time there was a lot of tourists and boats visited. Of course it is enjoyable when you are at see on a local boat, I come Mediterranean see and I enjoyed what you having now when I was a child. You can not imagine a renewable joy we can have each time. Fishing, swimming, drinking,...ect
