I felt it at least 2 times in these last 5 years with two different people... It feels nice at first, since you feel corresponded but once you start to need something that person can't give you, is where you begin to realize that you're not being treated with the value you deserve, and becoming a slave goes from a pleasure, to suffering Love from someone else's hand is good, but when everything goes wrong, the last thing that will remain is how much you love yourself. If you don't have that, you're lost in that ocean

This song is amazing...but it's so bittersweet. It's depressing. I'm sure this song has made many cry, and for good reason. I hope everyone who can relate to this song at this moment finds someone they can truly call their equal without any of the strife mentioned in this song. I hope you can find happienss without the need to lean on others so heavily, because in order for two people to reach a healthy relationship and truly grow then they need to also be able to stand on their own. This way...when one of you is weak, the other has the stability to hold you up as you recover. So, whether you're holding someone in your arms or sitting here alone tonight, and always, please keep your head up. She or he needs you just as much as you need them. You yourself need to know how to stand on your own. You don't need to always do it on your own..but you gotta learn to hold your head up above the water when no one else will. Not just a lover, family and friends will help you if you reach out to them. You truly need stability in this world and relying on nothing but an angel to come and save you from your problems won't get you anywhere, no matter how sweet their lips or warm their embrace.. It's so easy to give your mind, body, and soul, to someone you believe will take all your pain away...but they hurt too, and they can't hold you up forever. Over reliance on one person weakens them and it breeds resentment. It causes lovers to become bitter... It breaks hearts and shatters trust. Though, if you make it this far, be proud in your newfound stability. Know that soon you won't have to feel you need someone to rely on. Know that you can be relied on to embrace those you love who need this beacan of strength. Take pride in the fact you got over your ex or that terrible set back. Know you've for the most part if not single handedly built yourself back up. It is your will power that gives you this ability and love in yourself as well as others that allows you to keep smiling genuinely. Make it your goal to be as strong as possible but please don't grow cold in the process. I promise you people care even if you can't find anyone in that moment. People come and go but you're stuck with yourself so please put down the razors or negative feelings. Know you're worth loving or being relied on just as everyone else is. Still, this was a wonderful song Ken..thank you for serenading us with this heart wrenching piece.
@greattracksstraightfacts4 жыл бұрын
It definitely made me cry. But that’s mainly because it’s so sweet and it connects to me on such a personal level. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad reliance on the other. this song hits different for me, i crave my boyfriends love all the time and would honestly do anything he asked of me because im happiest when im making him happy. the bridge hits hardest because ive been conditioned by my past relationships to feel like when i make a mistake, no matter how small and insignificant it may seem to others, like i need to be reprimanded somehow. as if the only way to move forward is if he turns righteous anger against me. and yet he never does, and its so confusing but at the same time hes protecting me like ive begged for from the start. im emotionally broken but he wont continue to break me even when i cant shake the feeling its what i deserve. i always tell him too, ill love you for as long as youll let me, ill stay by your side for as long as youll have me. i havent found so much personal meaning in a song in a very long time. thank you for pouring your heart and soul into your music ken, i hope you and your loved ones are safe during these strange times.

This song has resonated with me to an incredible depth, and it stands the test of time as one of the most meaningful songs I've ever had the bittersweet joy of listening to. Not only that, it's been an irreplacable piece of my heart, and it is to me the very figment of undying love and security that permeates the relationship I've chosen to throw myself head first into. For as many twists and turns life has thrown at me in it, I've found myself listening to this song again when I lose my way. It is the story of this growing chapter in my life, and its remained the calling card of our beautiful serendipity no less. Thank you Ken, for gifting me such heart and meaning to remind myself of through your passionate medium. For every bad time, this song has given me hope to pursue forward and remain devoted to the one I love amidst many hardships and personal struggles that have occured as a result of my own selfishness. Love isn't without pain and tribulation, it's a fight for more than oneself-a test of resolve and character more so-and to me I've wished for strength at every turn to set me on the right path and to learn through my own mistakes so that I can be in that warm embrace I yearn for again. You've given me an athem for this love of mine, and a reason to remain steady and collected in my journey down this path.. it's something me and my partner can listen to on a calm day in eachothers company, a reason to smile when things get bleak, or just that single soft and gentle nudge back into the arms of the person I know and trust to lift me up when I'm not strong- What you've given me is more than you could ever know, and I know your carefree lesbian panda antics could never have predicted this one. So I thought it right to share in that joy and give back via sentiment. Once more, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you Ken, truly. I love you Isabella 🩶 "I'm okay when I'm your slave" 🔗

This song makes me feel so much at once happiness,sorrow,love,hopefulness,sadness, and easiness. First time I heard it I was surprised to find myself cry tears whether they were of sadness or happiness I have no idea. Thank you Ken truely I haven't felt anything in a long time and you made me feel again.

A fitting tribute to one of the greatest anime ladies of all time. Whatever else anyone has to say about the series, Raphtalia's strength, kindness, and nobility mark her as one for the ages. To paraphrase a friend, "The Sistine f*cking Chapel of Waifus"......

Ken, I don’t mean to be too serious, but this your music is some of the best music I’ve ever heard. You actually make a huge impact on my life. One of my friends went through a breakup, and I played “Blue” for her to help her feel better. That friend is now MY girlfriend, and I have you to thank for that. Each piece has its own emotion, and each one never ceases to amaze me. Bro, I can’t wait to see what you come up with next, because this was an absolute masterpiece. Thank you again! hey Ken, I think some fucker uploaded a song to your Spotify again. I assume you didn't write "In Lights" since it's some lo-fi track with no panda to be found on the album cover.
@KenAshcorp3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the heads up. It's not just Spotify, it's all major platforms that they're uploading songs to using an intermediary. Honestly nothing I can do about it, as most customer service reps are just bots or take months to respond. The only way for them to notice is for regular people to actually bring it to their attention. Very disheartening that it's all just to try and make a bit of money off of the followers I have mistakenly thinking it's my music being uploaded to my pages on iTunes, Spotify, etc. Only way to catch it out is to look at what's uploaded to Amazon Music, as I will never post my music there. They tend to check every box to deliver the track to all platforms, so anything that has none of my regular music is suspect.

I know he gets a TON on all of his videos every day, it's really weird, I've never seen that kind of behavior in any other KZbin comment section on any channel. Realizing this is actually Ken's most recent upload: Wait, what, really? Holy shit... Has it been that long? Damn. Every one of your songs is just so memorable that it doesn't feel like any time at all passes until the next one drops.
