This is not only from modeling, but other endeavors like Keeping up with the Kardashians, clothing lines, makeup collabs with her sister etc. Everyone has a heart attack when they see her as number 1 on highest paid lists because they think she’s getting paid more than any other model, but she’s making money from many different sources. Modeling does pay her a lot though, because she is very famous and brings brands more attention, whether it’s from people who like her or not. Modeling is a business, and they will value money and attention they get, over things like looks or skill. These brands do not exist to make poor unknown girls famous, they exist to make their companies rich.

By 2017, Gigi and Bella's walks had improved immensely. Kendall had a 3 year head start and her runway walk barely evolved. Even in 2020 her walk is still forgettable. It's almost like she isn't hungry for it cause she didn't have to work that hard to get it. No model who's been on the runway as much as she has should have such an average walk with little improvement after 9 years of runway experience. Something's not adding up

I can’t get over people saying she looks bored and her walk has no personality. Yes she’s no Naomi Campbell but she’s doing fine. Her walk is pretty on point albeit not commanding. And don’t all models put on a blank face during runways? Not all models have to appear fiery. Kendall stands out in her own way to me. A truly passionate model would have taken every opportunity to do her job. Linda Evangelista used to choose a new designer every season to walk for free just to support new designers. And I'm pretty sure Naomi took every single job she could take just to prove that she is at least as good as the other models (since they wouldn't hire her because of their race).

you’d think from the special treatment she gets that she’d put some effort in. i don’t know why people try to defend her walk like it’s not good???? sucks but it’s the truth, from all the backlash she gets you would think that she’d realise but because she’s rich and is a nepotism model she feels no need to put effort in because she has the privilege to stay in the industry no matter how bad she is. look how much bella and gigi improved from being criticised, they are real models and you can see how thankful they are from getting an easy way in to the fashion world, they are aware of their privilege. i’m not jealous and i don’t hate kendall quite frankly i do quite like her but the walk is an absolute no.

Good point, she's been called out for a lack of work ethic before. She doesn't do as many runway shows as other high profile models. Her runway walk has slightly improved (her movement seems less awkward) but considering how long she's been a model and her status you would expect her to be better. I mean she could hire a runway coach to improve her walk. Hell, even Tyra Banks got walking lessons early in her career and her modeling career ending up being amazing.

@@m.q.7149 yes like she used to wobble when she walked that’s the only thing she improved on, not only could her walk be better but her stage presence and attitude could also be, if u look at claudia schiffer her walk was never good in the 90s, it did improve but it deffo wasn’t the best and she even knew it wasn’t good, but her stage presence is what made her amazing. kendall had the potential to walk good though she just clearly chooses not to, i think she’s been very rude like when she said that she cherry picks her modelling jobs and her true colours showed when she made that statement it just shows her privilege and how ungrateful she is.

9 years of modelling experience and this is the only thing she could put on the table. unstable walk, blank face, and empty charisma. with the Hadid sisters, they improved A LOT. they know that their walks needed improvement so they actually worked hard to improve. that's professionalism and a great work ethic right there. it just shows that they respect the industry they work in and they are passionate about it. kendall, on the other hand, have shown minimal effort to improve causing her walk to be mediocre. she's not even great at editorials and even refused to do 30 shows per season. she has no respect for the modelling industry.
