From WV, here. This brings back many memories of my youth. My father would take me bear hunting with his all-black ursus plotts all the time up until about 5 years ago when he got too busy to bear hunt anymore. I remember the dogs would run the bear for a while and then tree the bear. Once it ran for a while, it stayed up there and wouldn't move.

you know how long it takes to get those hounds trained to 1. catch the smell of a bear 2. follow that smell to exactly where the bear is 3. train them to follow and chase the bear and not try and figh with it. Those dogs are perfectly trained

FYI Kendall if you raise the point of impact of that shotgun it will shoot where you’re looking. What I mean by that if you put some cloth or a pad on the comb of the stock the gun will shoot higher. That raises the point of impact so it shoot higher.

What you are describing here will help with getting a proper mount on the gun with your shoulder. But if point of impact doesn't match up with proper sight picture with the bead straight down the rib of the gun, the only way to fix that is to use after-market sights. You might get lucky trying different ammo or choke tubes if they are changeable, but otherwise, you are compensating bad point of impact by mounting the gun improperly and compromising proper sight picture.

kendal a tip to get a really fine texture of your ground meat for pasta sauce is to put the meat in a measuring beaker fill it 3thrds with water and, put the fork on it and make a mash put that in a pan and keep stirring and let it simmer until it cooks dry to let it get some browning and then put the pasta sauce mix in or cheese whatever you like best it will be the best pasta you ever tasted!
